d_doomer04 Posted July 28, 2004 well basically, i dont even have a web page for my newest project yet. but right now im building the site, and it should be online in a few weeks or so, i also have to contact my current ISP, but the story behind it all is basically this, your pitted against your own allies, and experiments go wrong in the compound, experimental creatures are loose in the base, and marine personel are trying to take you out at the same time. new enemies: rifle guard (finished) shotgun trooper (finished) flamethrower troop heavy weapons specialist (finished) experimental creatures flamethrower expert photon rifle guard double shotgun guy double chaingun boss RPG boss new weapons: k24 rifle automatic shotgun mini gun photon rifle and a bunch of new textures that i have finished but when i get the site up and running then would some of you consider the project? 0 Share this post Link to post

d_doomer04 Posted July 28, 2004 hey im the same dude that u were trying to teach to use the graphics editor, i havent put the images in yet but i have some finished. basically what i did was take the different enemies and the marines. i hand drew some of it, like the armor, and such, the original marine has a gun across his body. i had to remove the rifle and draw the rest in myself. then i put the same gun the enemy uses and put it on the marine, and i created my own dieing scenes. im fixing to replace the imp with a flamethrower guy, then ill have to use a hack editor to put in some more codeing to make the imp shoot multiple fireballs. its taking alot of work, but i used to take art lessons, and i put together my custom chaingun guy last night. it took me like 2 and a half hours to completely remake him. i remade every angle. 0 Share this post Link to post

d_doomer04 Posted July 28, 2004 you guys gotta understand that so far there isnt much of anything i have to put up for downloading. i need a team, and then thats when the ideas and levels, and graphics begin coming up. im looking for those of you who have nothing better to do. i know im not big time, but everyone has to start somewhere, right. i need help from you guys not critisizm. im working on the home page right now, but im just looking for some of you people who are lookin to join a small time project and make it big time. 0 Share this post Link to post
Fusion Posted July 29, 2004 Basically what everyone is trying to tell you is that, in this community especially, you need to provide substance to get people to join your effort. Nearly everyone in the doom community is already swamped with their own projects and do not have the time to contribute to another project, unless of course, it's going to be the next best thing since sliced bread. If you're interested in picking up new team members, you'll definately need to show off something new and innovative to impress people enough to join... Epyo Posted July 30, 2004 Nobody wants to join a Doom: Rampage Edition project. We need proof that this wad is worth joining. Any proof at all.
