Dittohead Posted December 18, 2005 sitters said:Yea, but I think that the download is much to big then. I am thinking about of making an wad after Strikeback with 10 levels. Then I can re Use some models and textures so the download is not so big.I wouldn't concern myself with how big of a download it would be. I think most people these days have high speed internet - so even if a wad is 20 megs it would only take a matter of minutes to download and it would definetly be worth it. Consider it? 0 Share this post Link to post
Dutch Doomer Posted December 18, 2005 I would downgrab it even if it was 100 mb, ive got a speedy connection, and i think most of us have one also these days. Love your new screens Sitters, im only using Risen3D for your maps:) 0 Share this post Link to post
sitters Posted December 19, 2005 Thanks, Maybe I make an compilation in the future. Now I am thinking about Strikeback. Maybe I drop the Egypt theme and go for the stile of the last room. I rebuild the last room and you are now drowning in detail of models, and still no problem for Risen3D. some shots : http://www.sitters-electronics.nl/Game.html 0 Share this post Link to post

I rebuild the last room and you are now drowning in detail of models, and still no problem for Risen3D. Instead of dropping the Egyptian theme, maybe you could make it a little detour or a small part of the map? Like, perhaps the Stargate is malfunctioning, and it sends you to all sorts of different places before you finally reach the main section of the map. It would give you an excuse to use all sorts of extra custom art for this! :D 0 Share this post Link to post
sitters Posted December 20, 2005 Thanks everybody, yea it is a good idea to use total different environments before you come to the main section :). I keep the Egyptian theme in and add some more different environments. But it cost a lot of textures and models so this is going to be a big download ;). greetings. 0 Share this post Link to post
sitters Posted December 24, 2005 I love 3D Detail :)). new shots : http://www.sitters-electronics.nl/Game.html Greetings 0 Share this post Link to post
KwadDamyj Posted December 24, 2005 Good Lord, Sitters. This is just barely short of professional quality, at least from an aesthetics standpoint. 0 Share this post Link to post
Dutch Doomer Posted December 24, 2005 Wierd I was kind of especting to see some doom3 monsters on those screens. Your new screens are looking nice, your really improved your mapping skills. Too bad you didn't won any awards for your outstanding work Sitters. 0 Share this post Link to post
sitters Posted December 24, 2005 Thanks KwadDamyj and Dutch devel, New stile of mapping, lots of architecture models. But I first testing it out with Risen3D and he can handle this perfect, so lets rock and roll Greetings. 0 Share this post Link to post

Dittohead Posted January 7, 2006 Wow, that last shot doesn't even look like Doom at all. The only thing that gives it away is that shitty pistol model. 0 Share this post Link to post

Khorus Posted January 13, 2006 Perhaps you could create some of the weapons form Stargate like that P90 looking machinegun? 0 Share this post Link to post
Bastet Furry Posted January 16, 2006 And now, when can we see Daniels office? I want to play with some artifacts from the Anciencts *g* IMO this could even sell as a full price game if Playability will be as good as the GFX. 0 Share this post Link to post

No that is not possible, because there is an lot of graphic stuff used from commercial games. I change and manipulate it for my level but it is still not mine. yea homer and dutch (devel) maybe I make an weapon pack for the change, between mapping. Willem. 0 Share this post Link to post
