Epic is obviously too strong a word in this case. But I agree that the project is growing far beyond the boundaries I had originally envisioned. This is largely because of the contributions of the other team members - DB 'Deathbringer' Thanatos has created some truly marvellous enemies and weapons, and Nigel 'Enjay' Rowand has introduced so many new elements that are intended to make the project polished and professional-looking. Finally, Jeff Ligda has composed/is composing all-original music for the game.
