Void Wad floorplate room

What's the sequence to open the three doors in the floorplate room with the floorplates on the floor and the ceiling? I'm stuck and any help would be appreciated.

I can't quite think of where that is. Can you take a screenshot of it?

Won't let my paste the screenshot, but its a 5x5 checkerboard with read and black squares w/ a white background. When you walk over a square it gets covered. You can walk over and cover all the squares but that does nothing. There's a wall switch you can hit that will reset the squares. There's some kind of sequence that will open the three doors in the room, but I can't fiqure it out.

There are visual hints that tell you what it is...

Anyway, IIRC, the solution is this:

O O O X O

With O for unlit plates and X for lit plates.

I take it you mean the red and grey room in which there's a trippy 5x5 square, and the player must highlight its tiles in a specific pattern to proceed.

There's an obvious clue. Look on the floor just in front of the door to the room itself.
