I did not "randomly stop using you". I stopped working on the WAD for many months as I was busy playing other games and worrying about real life...
Ah, that's understandable.
Also, I don't believe you have told me what you think of the Project as a whole now that it is finished. What are your overall thoughts on it?
Honestly, at times, it can be quite a tedious map to play. It suffers from gameplay that never really does anything new. The individual areas themselves are competently put together, but over the course of the entire map, I felt like I was repeating the same fight over and over... So, it got a little boring.
Also, there's a lot of ways that the player can avoid big fights. I already mentioned the switch puzzle. Avoiding the Spider Mastermind is also extremely easy. The final trap... Well, let's face it, by the time it triggered, I had already exited the level.
I'll give you a plus for the atmosphere in the first area, as well as when the player returns at the end of the map. The second area is very rough, though. A lot of copy/paste gives the map a bit of visual monotony.
It's not necessarily a bad map, but it starts to drag on after a while. For a project this large, having something like three or four testers, two who are fairly experienced mappers, for a beta release would have helped a ton.
