Certainly I can't be the only one who finds the fatalities fun and humorous. Let's face it, Doom is cartoon-y, and this is pretty mild by modern gaming standards (see Gears of War's chainsaw/curbstomp fatalities, or anything torturesque from the CODs). Some of the posts above mine sound ripped straight from the indignant headlines of the American FOX news.
I don't think there's anything especially morally repugnant in Brutal Doom's gameplay. Certainly nothing illegal is going on here.
If we're going to talk about moral decay, at least bring up something serious - like regenerating health! Now that's offensive!
P.S. but seriously, the racist comment was out of line, and I'm glad it's gone. But it is gone, and an apology has been delivered. If you want to boycott the mod because of that, you're free to, but something tells me the people railing against Mark aren't the kind of people that play his mod in the first place.
P.P.S. with one exception it seems the only people expressing disgust for BD's content are those that don't enjoy its take on gameplay... Can't be a coincidence.
