What is the best/most complete hi-res sprite/texture project?

Things like 3D models and whatnot need not apply. I'm looking for a well made hi-res sprite and/or texture pack that can run on (G)ZDoom.

For textures, this is the only one I could think of. There may be others though...

There have been efforts in making hi-res sprites, but from what I have heard, none have been successful, with the exception of the hi-res item pack for Skulltag. However, theif666 has been working on 8x Hi-res monster sprites. Not sure when/if he'll get all of this done though...
