And I have no clue how to lower the yellow key on Map08.

There's a switch behind one of the graveyard crosses. ;)

Yes, "Boom" implies -complevel 9. If a map is described as "Boom-compatible" and doesn't work with -complevel 9, you probably have a map error to report. Note that the differences between Boom and vanilla are not just in terms of special linedefs - some other things simply work differently, which can break maps designed for one format if they are played with the other's behaviour.
Thanks for clarifying this Grazza, will most certainly take care of the compatibility issue.

As far as I am aware, there isn't a compatibility problem. DeathevokatioN presumably wasn't using -complevel 9 when he experienced those problems.

You are correct.

This is some excellent stuff!
Going to try it out in co-op soon, maybe this weekend.

Kudos, and GL with real life stuff =) (I`m entering RL soon myself ;P )

Really fun, quick-paced wad, Joshy. I've come to expect awesome stuff when you map, and I'm not let down. Sad to hear that you'll be withdrawing from mapping, though. I'd say you and I have very similar styles (though you're better than myself). Would have been cool to work on a map with you, but so it goes...

Stop me if this is a weird question, but is Map03's big LAVFALL room an homage to WOS Map25? They look remarkably similar.

Glad to hear you guys enjoyed it. :) I am sad to withdraw from it, but then again, I am glad to have been part of this community anyway. Hate to sound rude, but that's just a foolish comment, you're a very talented mapper, and I am no better than you are (but I do admit having thoughts so many mappers here are so much more talented than me, haha); it would have been cool doing a collab map with you. :-) (Well actually, doing a collab map isn't out of the question, but it'll mean I won't be able to contribute a large amount)

You're absolutely spot on. I wanted to try out the jumping-vulcana style for myself, it was fun to do :-). Definitely Pcorf's magnum opus.

I really enjoyed this, it's a shame you'll be retiring from mapping, but this set's a good way to go out. Plus, IIRC, you made a map for Saturn X so we'll get to play that when that set's complete too!

Thanks, and I made three maps, all three which I'm particularly quite proud of. :)

An update, just fixed the bugs and all mentioned in this thread, and added a crappy titlepic I made... to give that sense of 'completeness'... heh.

EDIT: Uploaded to Idgames, will add idgame link once it's up.

Now I'm off to finish the remaining stuff for Saturn X.

Yay for you.

It's a damn shame you couldn't escape that dreaded hyphen-bug, though :P

Finally got around to playing this. My FDAs, because they're probably too big to upload as one file in the demos section. Some fun maps, some not so fun. I finished all but map15 I think. That spidermastermind is in an awful position for me, sniping across the map. Any mancs it provokes die too fast to really get any hits in, and the ssg won't pain it forever. Probably some positioning trick I'm missing. Anyway good luck joshy in your endeavors, I hope to see you mapping sometime in the future.
