Q1: How do you make something kill you instantly, even in god mode?
A: Anything over 10000 damage will hit through god.

Q2: How do you make something halt you completly temoprarilly?
A: The freezing thingy.

Depends on what your map format you want, halting I don't think is possible but strain had something called a decompression demon that was never used the damage is so high Doom thinks the kill is a telefrag so it kills you even if you have god mode on.

Anyways if you using ZDoom features then see this...

Freezing

Killing

DamageThing(100000);

High value will kill even if god mode is set
