Greetings doomers! I have just finished my first map "Follow the Blood", it's for plutonia and it requires the "cc4-tex.wad"

Which details the problems I have with this map so far.

ZDoom format, since PrBoom+ didn't seem to like this level. You say it's finished, but it quite clearly isn't.

The design itself isn't bad, but that's about it really. There are HOMs all over the place. You can probably disregard my comment about health and ammo.

I'm sorry but I don't know the meaning of "HOMs", would you kindly explain me what are HOMs?

ONE NOTE: I built this map with gzdoombuilder and I've only tested it with gzdoom.

There is no textures in the map and the first area is impossible to escape from.

Oh really? Which port are you using?
Make sure you're using plutonia.wad and cc4-tex.wad for textures.

And why is the first area impossible to escape from? There's not even a single impassible line in that area!

(Tested with gzdoom) There's gotta be a mistake, maybe there's a HOM here or there but "all over the place"?!!! I've tested more than twice!

I just had a go, found nothing wrong with it when using gzdoom and cc4-tex/plutonia, looks good

However, I did find that after killing the archvile and getting the plasma rifle no monsters appeared for the rest of the map. This seems to be because you have set them all to only appear on easy and medium difficulty settings, so none of them are there on UV

Also, trying it on zdoom there are a lot of HOMs as people above have said, so you might need to specify its for gzdoom only..
