How many of those sprites did you do yourself?

You should work years on your wad!
I know I did and it is still not finished!
But one day it will be. (Well, that is what I tell myself.) But when it is it will all be mine to claim. And people will say "Wow that scientist guy is pretty good" (Well... that is what I tell myself.)

The point is that all the long work is part of being a Doomer, and you can't skip that by using other peoples stuff.

Exactly. You couldn't have said it any better.

It might take a long time to do everything yourself, but the feeling of pride you get when you're done is well worth it.
