Donut makes Duel maps.

Over the last few months, Ive gone on mapping benders (Because that is a better outlet for stress than drugs or alcohol) The result of these are often duel maps which some consider to be "quality"

I figure you folks would be just as inclined to see it as anybody else. I see this going on for the foreseeable future.
For the meantime, these four were made as a set

Judging by the screenshots; they look very good especially the third shot (Where's that sky from may I ask)? I'll give my opinions on game play once I give them a try but you seem to have the detail down to a T. EDIT: They seem quite good on the game play perspective on the cerul3 map I think the plasma gun is a bit too easy to get. I'm also against damaging floors in duel maps but that's my opinion. I liked the elv map as it is a very well done tribute to the original but perhaps the BFG should be accessible from one way, not both sides e.g you can activate the lifts from both sides.

The sky is from the original Community Chest 4 texture pack (circa 2009) That is the pack I used for Blue and Yellow. (Red and Green were NB_recolors, for the record)

Blue is meant to be a remake/tribute to Judas_23. The Plasma gun is at the top of a staircase there. Any recommendation for switching it? Blue and Yellow havent had any duel playtesting yet (that I am aware of), by the way.

I quite liked the yellow map but you seem to like putting a lot of shotguns around (I assume these are for the spawns which isn't a bad idea thinking about it). The BFG bit in the blue map did get me thinking if that part was inspired by Judas, as for the plasma gun placement, Judas has it in a very narrow staircase in order to limit that players movement ability (I assume to make it harder to strafe when in there and the player can only jump out one way which is forward) but it just feels a bit too open for me on this map and that I can jump in many different directions (if this makes sense). I'm not sure where else in the map it could go but this is my opinion on it many might like it.

EDIT: Perhaps you could make the player jump for the plasma gun off of that? Also, you might want to post these here as they might get more notice. I should note that I haven't fully tested all the spawns and I'm not sure if this is intentional but the teleporter works only one way in the blue map. My final verdict is that these are some very good maps so far and I would quite like to see these get some play time in duel.

No surprise, these maps look great. I'll play through them properly and give better feedback, but even just regarding appearance, these are impressive!

Would you mind compiling these into one WAD? It'd be more appealing for hosting on ports that don't load more than one map in each mapslot.
