Anyway, this issue was addressed a bit here http://www.doomworld.com/vb/showthr...&threadid=29290. It's just the way it is: XWE can't recognize every sound, music or image entry during startup, only certain types. When you click on the lump, XWE will try to open it, and if it can, it will mark the entry then. This improvement is new to V1.14, before that version, the lump type remained "untyped".
