Would there be any way to add line numbering to the text editor?

It's a great program, even without line numbering though.

If you have the CodeMax 2.0 control installed, you can turn on line numbering: Right click in the editor, select Properties|Misc and set Line Numbering to decimal.

What would you use this for?

I use it for decorate lumps when errors occur.

I see. I could add a "Go to line..." function (ALT+G for example) that would ask for the line number and jump to that line. Probably would be useful in that case.
