I'm trying to import the doom textures for my doom2 wad but whenever i do it it screws up all my textures, probably as the result of redundant names, I tried loading the patch textures but they need to be renamed, this was working until I found some of them were broken into pieces, seperate files and i didn't know how to merge them.

help!

This is not going to be simple...

XWE can easily import all the Doom1 patches, and then you can just add all of those as textures (which will skip duplicate ones). But this won't recreate the exact original Doom1 textures.

XWE does not yet have a function to properly merge two completely different TEXTURE1 lists.
