Select a lump that takes awhile to load. While it's loading, go to your desktop using the windows key + D. XWE will stay until it finishes loading the lump, then will minimize. After restoring it, you can no longer minimize it.

Know any large lumps I can try this with?

Just make a text lump and copy and paste large blocks of text for about 6k lines. Not sure if it will be slow for you, since I'm using codemax for text highlight.
