Hi, Im completely stumped as to how to recolor sprites in XWE. So call me a noob, but how do I remap and make weapons look like the ones from OMG Weapons:

As opposed to the normal weapons. I want them to have the same shades just with a different color.

XWE itself isn't very good at that.

Deathz0r probably used Paint Shop Pro to do it, after he extracted the sprites. It's listed in the "editors used" line.

So theres no way to make them look like that?

If so that's fine, Ill just custom color them.

I've used XWE to recolour stuff before. I can't remember how. I found a good tutorial somewhere but forget where it is. It's probably better to learn to do that in a specialized graphics editing program.

Is this it? I just came across this recently and found it to be quite useful for recoloring textures that didn't take well to the automatic palette conversion.
