The motto on this poster on MAP21, translated into English, is: "We all live in a yellow submarine."

On MAP21, the U-96 refers not only to the real U-96 u-boat and the movie "Das Boot", but also the German music group U-96.

Also on MAP21, the U-2 refers to the British music group U-2.

Non-visual easter eggs include the names of some of the major enemies. For example, Dr. Nein's name is German for Dr. No (from the James Bond film). Translated into English, Captain Fischgesicht's name means Captain Fishface, and Admiral Klettefass's name means Admiral Barnacle-butt.
