  1. The Halls of Cain

'sa biblical reference, innit? First murderer and all that. Seemed a bit of a laugh to call it that I 'spose. Prob'ly a defmatch level, then. 'Course, if it gots monsters, ya could have a go at it solo, too, I 'xpect.

  4. Carnage

Two simple yet challenging new levels for DOOM 2. The first level is a medium sized level. The first level very much looks like a Wolf3d level, that has a little Doom2 in it. It has alot of long long hallways that are littered with Nazis. The second level is a good sized level. This level will keep your finger on the trigger. There are some tricks to this level that will keep you wondering, confused and lost for hours. Cooperative and DeathMatch play are NOT supported, nor are the difficulty settings. Most Doomers should find these levels to be a challenge.

Copy CARNAGE.WAD and CARNAGE.BAT into your Doom2 directory, then enter CARNAGE to play.

  5. bcs03.wad

bcs03.wad is a medium sized level. A favorite of mine for both deathmatch and single player. There is a seemingly impossible room with filled with barons and some blue armor. Its not that hard though, there are several ways to get it. Once you figure it out you should be the first to get it in Deathmatch. Lots of ammo located in a huge indoor (what's behind this door) room. There is a snipers window looking down into this room. There are some long running passages. There is a large vertical differential in this level that leads to a long elevator ride. All three keys are needed to finish this level. When your looking for the blue key you might need some secretly located night vision goggles. All skill levels are supported and Ultra Violence can get a bit tough at times.

  10. Blood Pit V1.0

Your the marine of the year. You take your ship to back to Earth when all of the sudden you speed up. Lights flash everywhere and then you find your self swimming in acid blood. As your armour starts to wear off you get a message on your wrist computer. "Theres a head in the middle of the blood pit. Theres a teleporter somewhere in the pit. We don't know if it will bring you to the colum or not. The head must be destroyed or there will be another invasion on Earth. The head creates monters. Destroy it and you will be sent back to earth" You sigh and get ready. Your armour has just worn out. BE CARFUL!

  13. Cover-me.wad

This wad was built for either 2 or 4 players. There are 2 teams in the wad, blue and red. You can have 1 or 2 players per team. Pick your teams before the games starts.

The goal of the wad is simular to the one in Drktwr3.wad (good idea to whoever thought of it!) You have 3 color coded switches that you must hit. You can hit them in any order. Once you have all 3, you go to the "green" room and enter the color coded tunnel. There are several barricades that will get out of your way as you hit the first 3 switches, opening the entrance to this tunnel. At the end of the tunnel you will teleport to the main hall and 1 point will be recorded on the wall for your team. From here you must start over!

To win you get all 4 points, thats all.

Oh yea, you'll want to take an interest in keeping your opponents from scoring, so I put some cool weapons in to kill with.

There are color coded indicators that tell you whether or not u have hit the switch in that area. They are located at the entrances to the swich rooms.

This wad must be played with monsters ON . trust me.....

Skill 5 is prefered, but not manditory.

  15. Arena Of Destruction 2

My friend Schorsch complained that my first level, AR_DEST1.WAD hadn't enough Arch-Viles (only 3!) So I got the idea to make a level where you won't run out of Arch-Viles and other Critters... In Arena Of Destruction 2, YOU can decide how many Arch-Viles, Cyber Demons and others appear... Just press the right button! A lot of other Deathmatch-levels are boring, because they are too big, and once you have played them, you get bored (I made one like this, too! But it was my first one) The storage can also be emptied at once, but I don't recommend it... How? Find it out! There is a second set of switches awaiting to be discovered... Can´t find it? Write me!

  17. A SEWER 2

This level is the sequel to a_sewer.wad. There are no changes in the structure of the level or placement of items, but here's a list of the new stuff: -Weapon sounds from Duke3d including Chaingun, Rocket Launcher, BFG, and Pistol. -New music: provided by Will Hannah. -A complete sprite replacement of the Cacodemon with a monster from duke3d, including the sounds. -Sound replacements of the Pain Elemental. In order to keep the file size down, I didn't go any further than this....but look for more levels like this one from me in the future.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
