    MAP01 for Doom II has been replaced. There are many secrets, but nearly all are visible on the map. All weapons are out there and lots of ammo for an action packed deathmatch. Can be played normally and also as co-op, but it's not as good because the secret passages stuff it up a bit.

  8. 2DEFWADS, and i mean REALLY DEF D/MATCH WADS

    These are my ABSOLUTE favourite DeathMatch Levels ever played! There are 2 levels contained in this 1 wad file, they replace MAP1 & MAP2 in DOOM ][. The first is titled "MadMax2", sort of from the movie, but it's like a big Arena and theres already tonnes of levels called Arena something, so this is MadMax2. Its small but very fast and intense. I like the sprites and stuff used, it gives a real sense of being locked up for BATTLE! The second is titled "TheEscape". Dont know why but its all i can think of right now. It's very big, but as theres not that many nodes, its still very fast through the Modem. This one is my favourite, trust me, i have played it for hours and I still cant get enough of it! Theres a nice little bonus room if you can figure out how to get in there, and who knows, you may even be lucky enough to start in there! Anyway, your probably not reading anymore so i'd better get down to the next section..

    The setting is 75% out in the open, however, there are a few passage ways outside of the large open area. A few secret places, but no official secrets where you get credit for them.

    The only level that I have designed purely for DM. This is my 11th level. Nocturnal, Circular island, Fragfest. This level has monsters and dificulty level, you can decrease the number of monsters by playing in an easier dificulty level. If you find out why this level is called "Sentinel" you can rule this island with tyranny! Play this with Doom2.exe or a port that does not support jumping.

    This was one of my "i'm bored, what can I do?" levels. So, I decided to make a deathmatch level based on my favorite Quake 2 DM level. This level is not meant to be EXACTLY like QDM1, you will notice differences, but it is VERY similar. It's good fun to play too.

    In the middle of the Level you will find 4 seats, these are The 4 Seats of Judgement.
    You were Judged to be "TO GOOD" for their purposes so they sentenced you to Die.
    The 4 Judges teleported away and left you to Die.... But no way you're going out the easy way, if you Die you will at least take some of them with you to HELL...

    This is joust a map of 2 big deathmatch rooms nothing else, and a teleporter on the side of a room. Nothing really good about this, but it good for death- match, It has all weapons, and no monsters. Oh there is no exit either ether.

      Aside from a couple of stinkers (I'm looking at you, maps 20 and 33), this was a pretty fun and challenging map set to play through. For the time limit imposed in order to make these maps, they're of pretty nice quality, I think. While I wasn't the biggest fan of the (in my opinion) overusage of Arch-Viles and Revenants, it was still a fair challenge.

      Disregard earlier review server error caused me to download the incorrect file. So what do I like? The textures combined with the sharp lighting contrast between heavy dark and rather bright areas. What I don't like is the rather empty feeling level with large rooms and corridors filled with medium tier enemies on Ultra Violence, i.e cacodemons and hellknights, while only given a shotgun and chaingun. The issue with this is that encounters become more tedious than dangerous. I would add a super shotgun or spread out the medium tier enemy placement. The level detailing leaves a lot to be desired with the large empty grey rooms/corridors reminding me more of Half-Life than Doom. With some more detailing and better monster/weapon placement I would rank this higher but as it stands this level leaves a lot to be desired.
