DWELLER1.WAD for Doom II

Deathmatch only WAD collection.
This is a compilation of all my deathmatch levels to date. This includes BOB10 through BOB14, and DWELLR06 through DWELLR11. I have modified my older levels so that they now all have exits. All levels also have some provisions for altdeath (a little health, ammo etc.). And I also did some texture aligning on my previous levels to make them a little more asthetically pleasing.

Open playing field, fast action, we suggest playing to fifty for one on one and make a rule not to open the exit to the end, this gives the person behind the chance to try and keep you from ending it. You can usually get a few frags back if you play your cards right.

This is an update of FetalDM3, it now has better DM playablity than before! These are 4 Arena Style Deathmatchs, all with great layouts, and play. Intended for one of two types of play.
1: One-on-one or team play--where each team only chooses their colored teleporter in the start room. (Thus, they will always start in their own tower.)
2: Full deathmatch with no rules what-so-ever!
There is a large room with two identical towers facing each other. From a small start room, each player chooses either a teleporter to underneath the tower or to inside of it. (Two color-coded teleporters tower.)
Level 1 has impassable lines to prevent crossing over to the other tower. Level 2 does not. Level 2 on ultra-violence is considered to be the definitive version. :.)

This is an effort at converting the much-loved Quake DM3 level (by John Romero) to Doom2. I tried to make it as realistic as possible without adding textures (otherwise it wouldn't properly be Doom2 would it? :) But I did add ambient sounds (very cool)

DAMNATION ALLEY II for Doom 2

This is an outdoor "City" Level designed for 2 or 3 player Deathmatch. It was intended to be the sequel to my Damnation Alley WAD (damn1a.wad) but it was never entirely completed due to lack of interest. After playing Damnation Alley, many people have asked me about this unfinished sequel but I never actually gave it out. Although I am no longer creating Doom WADs, I decided to offer this level to those who were asking about it and for any others that may be interested. I hope you are not too disappointed, the level had a few neat ideas and a pretty cool look to it.

Crossfire Fortress

Inspired by Lachlan Stewart's excellent "Dandy3" level. In it, I discovered the joys of crossfire, plus I've had this general layout floating around in the noggin for a while. Plenty of action and lots o' strategy. Weapons are abundant and their locations vital to some of the more subtle strategies involved.
I'm semi-retired from .WAD making, so I took no steps to align any textures. If this just totally spoils the level for you, so be it, but I don't have the time anymore to devote to making these things. Unless of course, you want to pay me... ;)
I mention this, because the last two 3-D games I played, Dark Forces and Witchaven, had noticeable "newbie" level mistakes, and on the whole were just not that impressive. (Compare Episode 1 of DOOM to the illogical structures of DOOM 2 for a good example of this..)
I say this shit about retirement, but it has been like a week or so since I last released a .WAD, so you can tell I'm hooked.

This is a DOOM II pwad that was designed specifically with 2-player Deathmatch 2.0 in mind. Works pretty well with 4 players too. It is very difficult to get to the exit in a one player game. It took me a lot of times to finally pass it. If you like this wad, LET ME KNOW!

By Walter confetti · PostedA basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.

By Walter confetti · PostedConceptually not bad, it's a pretty imposing tower with some decent lighting, but no ammo at all despite having the guns and a VERY obscure way to rise up the floor in the lava pit? That's a big downer. But overall, it's ok.
