  1. No One Lives Forever!

    Consists of a building and an outside area. Inside the building is a 4 story killing ground that makes use of slopes and 3D floors. Run outside to get some health and prepare to get back in the action.

    Contains all weapons excpet the BFG.

    As stated elsewhere this map requires GZDoom and while it might run on other engines it will not play correctly without the bridges, ramps or the ability to jump.

    While doing my second match on Judas23 during the first season of the STDL, I decided all of a sudden (more like after I lost rofl) that I wanted to create a Judas-inspired duel map. So that's what I did. The layout took me 30 minutes and the rest (texturing, adding items, etc) took about an hour. The textures came from a Quake pack that I'm currently converting for use in Doom (note orginal textures are not mine, I'm just compiling them). Anyways, I guess it plays ok. It's got somewhat similar gameplay to Judas, but it does have its own quirks of course. Could also be played with 4-6 in Deathmatch and variants.

  14. MancerXX v1.0

    In short: Having recently rediscovered how great Doom 2 DM still is I've decided to remake some of my ooold Doom 2 maps from 1995/1996 for the fun of it. They stay fairly true to the original layouts while adding plenty of new elements and gameplay opportunities.

    These maps are intended primarily for 1-on-1 play. However, MAP05 is somewhat larger than the norm so that one plays better in FFA.

    MAP01 - MancerX MAP01 revamped MAP02 - MancerX MAP02 revamped MAP03 - MancerX3 MAP13 revamped MAP04 - MancerX3 MAP11 revamped MAP05 - An err.. Mostly new map. Larger than the others.

This conversion includes lots of new sprites, textures, musics, sounds and everything else(You will need zdoom). These maps were designed for multiplayer deathmatch games. There is some unused monster sprites in this wad(I tried to make cooperative maps, but they wasn't so cool) I need some cooperation to make some coop maps(I can't do good coop maps)

  22. MAG HQ

    This is what is believed to be the first HQ ever made for a ZDaemon clan. The idea of just having fun on a map without killing was the initial inspiration. A clan evolved and the HQ was born. It was basically our version of a doom paradise for the clan to hang around and have meetings. Eventually that got out of control and most of the clan wanted to do nothing but hang around at the HQ. This led to the eventual demise of the MAG clan. MAG is still in existence (as of 4/14/05) but has very few members. At the time of this HQ's limited release (December '04) the clan had over 40 members. None of the creators of this wad are still in MAG clan. However, seeing as how we made the wad, we have the rights to it. It is not being presented for serious review (or play), merely as a curiousity. So here it is, the MagnaMarines Official HQ. Enjoy =p

    Well, after not working on moddm3 in a LONG freaking time, I looked at it and decided that out of 3.2349 maps, I only liked 1. I kept map02, scrapped map04, but I liked map01 and map03 so much I decided to release them standalone. Please do not take this as a moddm3 demo version. Anyways,

    MAP01 - 11Arena I strongly suggest this map be used in 1on1 play ONLY. A map11 style map I whipped up, with insane gameplay. MAP02 - The River And here was moddm3 map03. Basically a river in a canyon, with a new weapon.(See DEHACKED) Should be playable with 2-4 players.

  25. Morbid DM 02 Flood Dead

    The second in the "Morbid DM" series, featuring all new textures.

    No prizes for guessing what DM add-on inspired this level :) FFi was a great set of maps, and I guess you can consider this to be a "tribute".

    Nick made the northwestern room, the large flooded room and the flooded tunnel. Derek added the eastern room, and the area just to south of the large flooded room. Then Nick did all the rest.

    Somewhat larger than Morbid DM 01, its highly recommended that you play with three or four players unless you like hunting.

      Doesn't like the layout and monster replacements, I didn't found RL until got the yellow key and found a lot of rockets, the location where RL is confusing me, and it also not fun when you get kicked down from the cliffs by Revenants, Mancubus and Archviles after the way to Blue key door, the way to the teleporter just far enough to kill you if not killed by monsters which kicked you down. Final timed puzzle room just nasty as the cyberdemon and archvile fights in the same place, not sure why make the level so big but can't make the fights with them also on bigger place too?   It's not bad level but I'm sure the frustration level is sky high, and not sure the slopes from ZDooM do anything good to this level too.

      Normally, I don't like DooM (1 or UD) WADs because I tired shooting baddies with shotgun as most of them tend put a lot of shotgun guys/ammo and I have shot those full of shotty shit...well, this one can't escaped from that but I found author's tricky as I didn't found many of them(or they placed when I needed to use shotty), also the monster placements(with middle-tier ones) in this megawad helped too, even E1 doesn't suffers low-tier ammo-droping-fest unlike IWAD and most PWADs.   Level layouts and theme are interesting, some E3 levels just a little mazed but I feel okay, never get lost...many levels I feel plays like IWAD but better and larger, you'll found middle-tier monsters in E1 levels and it helps the gameplay, unlike the IWAD you'll have too much ammo in every level even pistol start, if you wasted too much and will out of ammo for sure(at least in UV).   All I can say about this megawad is...fun,  vanilla fun. Except E3M8, the yellow key area with platforming when all enemies + 4 cyberdemons are try to kill me and battles-of-deal-with-4-cyberdemons-or/and-other-powerful-monsters are nasty to me, on top of them, the final "BOSS"...I feel trolled...really? IoS-style?? IT'S ****ING DOOM, NOT DOOM 2 WHY USE IOS-STYLE AS FINAL BOSS?!  :P (At least there is no respawning monster cubes just annoying cyberdemons and barons...but they're still give me a lot of headaches as the battle area isn't very huge and a little cramped I think...)   But at least IDMUS11 helps me dealt with those problems all, for some reasons I feel the main theme of Power Ranger does fit DooM...don't know why but I keep switch to the theme with IDMUS11 cheat if I don't like the level's music, helps me blast through this megawad and the nasty E3M8. :P

I had an absolute blast with this one, and I'm not sure what Nems was talking about with the Boom stuff as this runs in Doom2.exe with no trouble. In fact, there is a TON of impressive vanilla stuff going on here. I guess it was so well done that it tricked him.   This deserves a high score. It's a lot of fun.

      It definitely makes Doom look darker, but also slightly changes colors (it reminds me PSX Doom). I prefer original Doom colors and miss how it looked on CRT (almost same colors as with modern monitors, but less brightness and maybe more contrast).

      Great spirit/item placements, and also nice trap placements. Textures are georgeous and scream "1980's sci-fi action movie".
