  1. :New Civilization

:This is the best wad I have made to date, though some think that it is a sequel to civdem.wad, they probably think that because the rooms look the same, the difference now is a new and improved final area, and a corridor that connects the end of the level to the rest. Anyway, the demons in DooM have gotten a bad reputation because they are evil, but many people don't realize how civilized the demons trully are. In this level the demons, have made numerous civilization advances, including a small grocery store type area, they have also made long corridors of sleeping quarters, as well as numerous traps and switches that activate various things. So go in and kick some butt.

  3. (couldn't think of one)

This is my first attempt at a doom2 level. I'm afraid it doesn't have much of a theme as all I was trying to do was experiment. Its not a cakewalk, however, even on the 'easy' setting.

  4. A Hidden Mountain Factory

This is primarily a single-player level, though you can play it in co-op - and even deathmatch, though it's not specially designed for it. The storyline: you have to infiltrate a hidden mountain factory, which produces... um... really nasty stuff. It is heavily guarded, so be careful! Stop the production and escape the facilities. Good luck!

  5. A real NIGHTMARE ...

This level is designed to be played in *NIGHTMARE* mode only !

Just a little maze, a few sergeants, and a little friendly pumpgun. But a lot of fun, cause you do not know the position of the monsters, even if you have played it before !!!! Every time you turn around, you could look into the two barrels of a sergeant's pumpgun. If you kick one's ass you will meet him again later, but who know's when and where this will happen ? This level becomes very realistic while playing, cause there are just "human monsters". Did you ever seen a Caco-football flying around in the "real world" ? (I mean the other one, you know)

  7. All Alone

This is a single player WAD for Doom II, but has DM start points if you want try. A single person called upon to make his/her way through terror filled rooms and hallways. You first arrive when your transmat beam goes awry, and you find yourself on a large dias. You take stock of your surroundings and see several nasty Demons, thank God they are barred up in a room ! You see what appears to be a lighted red skull in a barred window far above you. You also see two locked doors, one obviously needing some kind of pass-key. But wait .... there is a switch in the room with the Demons. You then spot a wicked, blood encrusted chainsaw near the room, but even with that you might still not kill all those creatures. Looking around carefully, you notice piles of dead players near embossed carvings of a hideous creatures near the door requiring a key. As you wonder about the carvings, you notice scratch marks around them ....hmmmmm could they be switches ? could they somehow help me escape the Demons and get the hell out of here ? ............ This is only the beginning of a dangerous road to freedom.

Lmp included will give away some secrets and the trick at the beginning.

  8. Area 666

This is my second released WAD, and is my latest attempt at a level. It's a short single player map only, and I have no plans to make it a Death Match map. It's only intended for people who want a quick challenging blast without too many special effects.

  9. CASTLE MENISCUS

    * Years ago I DM'd an AD&D (TM, etc.) game; the Castle Meniscus was one of many castles in the world of Cereberus; if response to this level is good, there may be sequels based on some others. * This game was designed primarily as a Single- Player game, although it is perfectly capable of DEATHMATCH. It may also make a good Cooperative if you play on higher skill levels... * Your goal (aside from survival) is to get 100% of the Secrets. All hidden doors are marked, but some may be VERY subtle, so look closely... * If you play this several times you will recognize that if you go through certain rooms in a certain order, your chances of survival will be much better. Beginners may find this one difficult, but I can can complete it on Ultra-Violence without dying or cheating, so its not too bad. * This is a BIG level, so you may need some horse- power to run it smoothly... my deathmatch mates recommend at LEAST a DX2-66 w/ 16+ MB of RAM... and a good Video card... I personally would recommend at a Pentium; it was built w/ a P-60, Stealth 64 2MB VRAM, and 24MB of RAM...

  11. Claustral

a map limited to a 1024x1024 square (some geometry extend beyond this boundairy, but the player and all gameplay happen within this area). this map was made when the 1024 contests and community projects were just starting to get popular. Never released until now. Its a short, claustrophobic castle map with lots of brown bricks and metal (my favorite stock textures!).

This level is called cortyard.wad because of the extensive use of courtyard scenes
Graphically , this may be the best of the nldoom series
Textures were a main priority,to make the level enjoyable
    1 key is needed
More bad guys to meet demands. Look for invulnerable in tough spots.

  16. deathz0r Episode 1: The Old Menace

Run away, it's the unreleaseable deathz0r maps! I'm serious, if you attempt to look at these, you are certain to produce some sort of phobia with crappy wads, or wads that were made in 1997.

However, I must mention a few things:

    * Dean.wad is map06, there was no text file for it. * Wadpack.wad originally had modified Doom 2 maps in it, so I removed them and kept the level I made from scratch (map09), plus I preserved the date and time. * Suprdoom.wad and Sprdoom2.wad are both map01. * They are horrible, but better than half the shit that is in /newstuff.

  19. E1 MAP01

    The short version:

    E1M1 done MAP01 style.

    The longer version:

I'm not sure where I got the idea from exactly, but I decided I'd have a go at recreating the original Doom E1M1 in the style of Doom 2 MAP01. In that I think I've succeeded, although there is a little bit more detail in this than the original levels of either Doom 1 or 2, and I couldn't resist using a couple of new flats in places.

After I'd finished the layout, I realise I might as well have ago at improving the gameplay a bit. After all, I know it's the easiest setting, but a grand total of FOUR enemies on I'm Too Young To Die? Now there's 19 on this setting, 32 on medium and 47 on hard.

DM has also been given a fair bit of consideration, and you should find it plays considerably differently than Doom E1M1. Perhaps the most important difference is that the central outdoor area now serves as a crossroads rather than a dead end.

BTW, listen closely and even the E1M1 music has been slightly changed to more closely match the music from MAP01. Ditto for the sky.

  23. House of Doom

A wad of my house. I tried to get all the details right, and I'm pretty proud of it. I even put the street, driveway, front garden, barn, all the furniture, and even the 200 gallon aquarium in the basement. Here's a little story if you want one.... The demons are back on earth. They come to your house and throw you around, kill your family, and basically just piss you off. The terds lock up the basement and scatter the keys around the house and yard. You want in the basement to get your BFG to blow their friggin' heads off. First you've got to find the keys, though. A small hint - you can go through the kitchen window, if necessary... Go, obe-wan. Kick their asses. Get your gun and get out. Have fun.

This level has some great traps.
Remember that teleporter landings are a key of which building to enter next.
There are enough suits near islands to protect you
There are goggles hidden prior to the dark room
The last room is tough-look for switches behind the crates and then a way to move the crates

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
