  1. Abyssal Speedmapping Sessions: Session 34

Twenty-three maps made during the thirty-fourth Abyssal Speedmapping Session in the space of 2 hours, with 15 minutes for music and texture selection and 15 minutes for bugfixing. Held in two sessions twelve hours apart, each mapper had three themes to choose from:

    - Use of red textures - Use of berserk - Candle bridges using self-referencing sectors or height transfers

Plus an extra one for those attending the second session: - Use of non-liquid damaging floors

  2. Crimson Wood

Medium/large non-linear map, quite hard (not too much for veterans), designed in 2 months + various days/weeks of post release tweaking

  3. Breach

Sprawling techbase medley with surreal interludes in hell. Assume the usual twaddle about teleportation research gone awry.

This was an exercise in using the original Doom 2 textures and specials to build something very modern: with intricate spaces, long vistas and a bunch of half-assed environmental storytelling. Inspired by No Rest for the Living, Visions of Eternity, Vaporware Demo and Metroid Prime.

(This represents about half of the map I had planned before I hit the seg limit; I may finish the second half at some point before the Earth finally plunges into the Sun.)

7 new slaughtermaps. Hard enough to turn you into a combat wounded veteran. Use pr/gl-boom+ for best performance. Complevel 9 or die!

  6. The Highlands

Part six in a series of levels to be individually released and then eventually combined to form a final compilation. The Highlands is a mountainous region frequented by various demons as they roam the lands, expect to fall from a nasty height if you're not careful, fast, and accurate.

  7. Behemoth

A moderately large map featuring a hellish fortification with progressively more difficult fights, especially in the secret areas.

This map is old now (built mostly in 2016) but i decided to put it on idgames anyway.

  8. Comatose

This map originally has been made for "Pain" project, but in the result I decided to cut it from there because of some reasons (which I cannot say yet). It is a continuation of the idea of "Overdose", but it's not related in terms of the story. A limit of sidedefs in LR format is achieved here, so it is not possible to draw at least one new line at all. Because of this, as well as the abundance of large open spaces with lots of sectors, map may slow down in complex sourceports like ZDoom and it's derivatives, so PrBoom-Plus is HIGHLY recommended. The biggest performance (in terms of FPS) will be in GLBoom-Plus. Also, complevel 2 is necessary. Have a great game.

  9. Asbestos Queen

My very first attempt at a Boom-compatible map pack, though it's recommended you instead play in Zdoom and its derivatives for the sake of an enhanced CD-quality soundtrack. The featured maps range anywhere from a tech-greenhouse to a satellite crashed into a cave, and the start/end of each map follows on from the last to emulate a cohesive journey. It also features a new monster, a boss, and was designed with gameplay mod compatibility in mind.

  11. Containment Area v1.1

Consider this a tribute to the original Doom's E2M2. I always liked that level for some unexplainable reason, and thus felt it neccessary to emulate the style in this map. Even if you disliked that map I trust you'll have different feelings about this one!

All six keys are present in this map, so remember that red card and red skull AREN'T the same. :)

Resources from the Doom betas, Doom64 and Quake2 have been used in this map, as well as some original sounds/graphics by me.

  12. XXXI CyberSky

One level (map31) for limit removing ports. This map contains 39114 sidedefs, so you need port which can handle more than 32767 sidefs. PrBoom-Plus or GZDoom are recommended.

  13. Crumpets

Crumpets is a set of 9 bite-size boom-compatible maps, designed to be played from pistol start. The levels are small, typically 50-100 monsters a piece, and loosely follow a plutonia / marble-ruins aesthetic. UV is designed for experts, so I encourage most players to start off on HMP.

  15. Blood and Bones: A Skeleton Scorned

You were but broken bones and brawny blood. Yet your tomb stirs, and here you stand!

This was a map I created for the Vinesauce Mapping Contest a few months back. After the stream where Joel played through it people had started asking for the download link, so I decided to just release it now. It's mostly unchanged from the one submitted to the contest, the only difference is it has a titlepic this time around.

  17. Artica 2

This one is only one map. It's not to huge(but then, I don't like to bore the public with all those puzzles heh). It also continues right from where the first Artica left off, and like Hollywood, I left room for a sequil(heh). This isn't a series either, it's a continuation(unlike Eulogy). I got that idea from Half-Life actually(you were waiting for me to mention it, weren't you? hehe)

MAP27 It took way too long to make. Detailed, dificult, you know the drill... just download it and play it, trust me. It requires a source port (any source port that removes VPO and HOM, ie. almost any source port) to run, though jumping etc. is cheating.
