  2. Kalrac's First Heretic DM Level

It's a DeathMatch Level. You go in, blow people up, and that's what it is like. I was going to add this in to a Hexen level I'm making, but decided to make it separate. My Hexen level will have a Heretic level in it, though, just a different one.

  5. Kick Yo Ass!

Kick Yo Ass! is a HERETIC deathmatch only level without any monsters except your friend-become-prey. It's stricktly move fast and kick ass from begining to end. The level consists of another arena (12 sided) surrounded by a deep moat (below) & hallways (above). One Teleporter at the bottom of each hallway entrance will transport you to that hallway (you can also jump accross from above and achieve the same thing). There is also one Teleporter in the central arena take you to the Holding Bag. Weapons, Ammo and Goodies are all over the place depending on the Skill level chosen at start (The higher the Skill level, the nastier the Weapons. There are windows accross from the arena which access semi-secret rooms with invisibility spheres and other goodies. These rooms are also accessible through a door in the hallways. They make for good ambush sites. The players start in one of the four connected hallways above the arena or in one of the semi-secret rooms. They will each find plenty of weapons to start them out (Nobody should get the upper hand). This level is great in DEATHMATCH 2.0 as well as regular Deathmatch.

  6. lashme.wad

This is my first heretic deathmatch. I have designed it specifically to take advantage of the features in heretic, rather than convert one of my doom deathmatches.

Why the hell have I not been using this. Incredible, 5 stars.

It was difficult for me, but I enjoyed it, a few more ammo pick ups and maybe some health too, but other than that it's a good level.

I should've heeded the warnings from the other reviews...

Horrible and unenjoyable, it's what I can say about this megawad.  Does it really need to be archviles and cyberdemons in every corner and tight corridors, ambushing with nowhere to go?  Yes, textures are very monotonous, and you got corridor after corridor with same floor/ceiling height.  It's extremely annoying to hunt for that switch that will let you continue, and, surprise!  They're hidden inside the walls without being secrets and no hints where to look for, even with ALLMAP cheat you get lost very easily

Not quite as bad as some other comments said, for an old wad anyway. Playable but easy at UV. Some poor texture alignments, nearly all brightly lit, no atmosphere. New sounds are mostly cranky but I liked the machine gun. The voice sounds the same as in "Wild West Of The North" - WEST.WAD which was by Mike Lasota and which also has cranky (but different again) sounds.
