  1. Doom Space Nine and HOTEL CALIFORNIA

    DMSPACE9.WAD
This is a great deathmatch level with lots of lifts (just like Deep Space Nine) with places to hide that you can see out but the other players can't see you. The only weapons available are the handgun and plasma gun what do you expect on a space station, the medkits and the energy are somewhat tricky to get without getting blasted by your opponent, so rack up the frags. Check out the cool music and sounds. Have fun. p.s. We are all Doomed!!!!!!!!

    HTLCALIF.WAD
Well, no one knows what the real Hotel California looks like so I took a chance. It reminds of the lyrics in the song "you can check in,but you will never check out. There are lots of hiding places in the bedrooms that you can see out but the other players can't see in, but watch out they can shoot you.Watch out for the lava pit, and the sublight in the bathroom.Made primarily for Deathmatch, one player is kind of short. We're all DOOMED. tom

  2. THE MAZE MAZE2.WAD -- PWAD for Shores of Hell -- Level 1

This level is the product of having played several deathmatch level of other authors and not being satisfied that it provided the proper 'arena' for a deathmatch...there were far too long and complicated and the players were more engrossed in actually getting 'through' the level rather than killing each other! The 'MAZE' is simple but provides the best arena for DEATHMATCH play.

  8. THE COFFIN

Special Notes: 1. Yes, you wimps can save (F2) this. We heroes, we true heroes, have trained ourselves to not rely on such backless behavior.

    2. Big expanse here, so she's going to run a little on the "chunky" side, sorry! Not much extra time lately, this was sort of spit out quickly. But please give 'er a go...

    3. This a Death Match level. Do not look for exits and such.

    4. Level layout is simplistic on purpose.

    5. We tried to incorporate a dozen or so "battle areas" within The Coffin. Try the Cross Teleports, use the high vantage points to your advantage, unleash the Cross's Demons on your 'friends', and...

    6. Find the secret area and you can blast your opponents yourself, or you can unleash the furries from Hell to do the nasty work for you (really a sense of satisfaction listening to the big bastards pummel your former friends!). Good for at least a dozen of your opponents frags to find this place.

Well, here it is. Thanks for all the great feedback on the first one (Killme.zip) in this lib. As before, no monsters to get in the way, just good layout and opportunity for strategy. This one is E1M2. Good luck and I'd appreciate any feedback....

  18. WAREHOUSE.WAD

This level is for those DDDP's (Diehard Deathmatch Doom Players). This WAD has been tested and tested and tested. The only problem is that there isn't enough time in a day when you get four DOOM Guru's together to do JUST battle.

This WAD was not designed for single play but can be easily modified and added onto to become one.

Happy Deathmatching and don't stay up to late. :)

This is a Deathmatch WAD only, with an Arena theme. Sort of a king of the hill setup. The title came in early design when it looked a lot like a weed whacker on the map.

  23. Guets Apens - GUETAP.WAD

"Guets Apens" - DEATHMATCH - Set a trap turn the light off when your enemies cross acid floors, stop the lift when they try to get the Rocket Launcher. There is a lot of loopholes, and a "Leatherface" atmosphere in the corridors. You can't stay at the same place, someone's always watching you. Weapons: Shotgun, Chaingun, Chainsaw, Rocket Launcher. Enemies: Trooper, Sergeant, Demon, Baron. You must be 2 to exit the level. Some hours to find all mechanisms. This Wad is for 2(Good)-4(Exciting) deathmatch players only, with (of course) -ALTDEATH options.

    E-mail bugs and suggestions.

    I hope you'll enjoy...

I must say that although it is a wad of terry, I would like to find a serious one like this, new enemies very interesting and original just for their attacks, bosses that have inspired me (and you can see it in my creations) and it is really amazing like this wad despite having their terry traps is entertaining and much better than many wads of 32 levels, if you want to have something interesting to play and different as long as you ignore the story is fun filled with very good boss fights, excellent music, this is an option although if you can not stand the terry traps just do not try it   5/5 to be a joke wad   Gaia74

A quarter of a million monsters in a gigantic flat square room. It is said to be for stress testing source ports (and your PC?), otherwise it's on the other side of crazy. It took my PC nearly two minutes to load the wad (I thought it had crashed) and I took less than two seconds to die. At least it ran - the author says he never even managed that.

The first screenshot has a high viewpoint because an Archvile lifted me. The second shows it in the Eureka editor; seeing only about 4% of the area, and every red square is a heavyweight monster (yellow selecting a caco).  and Doomguy is in the bottom left corner. Eureka was crawling, almost unusable - how did the author even build this?

This was great. Great joke wad and a great Terry trap collection. Instead of the generic "Oh it's a well made map at first then BOOM" it's actually a well-made megawad that simply has them as little traps that can be avoided. It's able to be completed, seriously. That's new. I especially love the final boss and highly suggest using a cheat against him. Trust me, do it, it'll be worth it.

Are you up for a brutal, non stop challenge through detailed, but bland environments? The Secret Energy doesn't let up, so it's either a low health slaughter map or a speed runner's dream to get from switch to switch, all while enemies constantly spawn in with each button press. There's little health for such meaty enemies and even on the easiest difficulty, it's a slog to kill them all. The place is so big and centralized, you might miss where you need to go next. No arrows, the switches are around corners and walls inside of rooms that may or may not have opened.   It feels like a punishing experience from the first room. It fills with imps, then pinkies, then flying enemies, then revenants and a cyber demon. The entire map is like that. Enter a room and it will flood in via waves. Each wave opens up something new and you need to find where that new thing is. Is it a switch on a wall? Is it a switch inside of a pillar? Did a door just open up? Are you supposed to go back into the main corridors of the complex? At least on my first play through, I felt there was a poor flow to the level.   The game has its detail, but detail with greens, browns, a few blue wires across the floors, perhaps to guide you to the next area. It was all lost on me and blurred together into a jumble. While the structures of each new room was different, it's the color scheme and darkness that stayed the same.   Give it a try. There is something redeemable in here for those hardcore enough to endure the first room, let alone the entire map.
