  1. PILLARS.WAD

This patch file is for E1M1. To designed for deathmatch play. The main section of this wad file is the series of pillars in the center of the map. To get up to the rooms upstairs you must 'run' starting from the lowest platform and run up the ascending pillars without falling off. It's hard to explain, but you'll see what I mean when you try it. I hope you like it, and if you don't you are free to change it.

  4. Pipes

Here is your chance to take a lovely tour of the subterranian sewer system that exists to fulfil all of Hell's waste disposal needs. But what is that coming out of the pipe?! I guess it is time to take out the trash! Mangle the monsters, clean the sewers out, explore horrific ventilation shafts and find the pipe that will bring you back to the surface.

For all of you thrill seekers out there, try ULTRAVIOLENCE... You will have a little trouble getting down the first pipe, but after that it will be smooth sailing, yea right!

A warning to anyone who thinks they are cool and anyone who downloads a wad file, then uses IDDT IDDQD and IDKFA and breezes through the wad. You will be pleasently surprized by this wad file. I put a few IDDT busters in there for all the cheaters of the world to be discouraged with.

Be warned. I am a crafty bastard. This Wad file is a bitch and there are many chances to die, so die and have fun doing so. There is a demo included It is the SECOND demo, so wait for it.

For all you network jocks out there...

This level was designed for CO-OP play. Deathmatch starts have been inserted, but Deathmatch sucks with this level. There is a great possibility that one or more players will get stuck someplace. And a greater possibility that any player will never see any of the other players. Go CO-OP for this one.

  6. Pitfall

Well, this is my first Doom WAD and personally, I think it's pretty good. You will find just about anything on this level. The only thing I left out was the Spider Demon. (Too much of a bad ass!!!)

Oh, and are there secrets!!! I put in ten of them. One is very hinted, another isn't really a secret but you have to find it before you are killed. (You will see what I mean when you play.) The other eight you may never find without using "IDDT"!!! I even put secret sectors coming from other secret sectors (hint, hint.)

Well, I hope you enjoy it and any feedback, good or bad, is always appreciated.

This level was used for testing my DOOM editor, DOOM Construction Set (DCS) 1.0. It's a little small, but I didn't want to spend all my time on the level and not the editor!

  9. Planet Hell

This pwad replaces episode #2 with 9 new levels. The level layouts and difficulty of these levels are compareable to DOOM's 'INFERNO'.

This pwad include following nine brandnew missions:

1.) Entrance 2.) Catacombs 3.) Lab of Horror 4.) Outcasted Building 5.) Bloodletting 6.) Weird Ruins 7.) Walk thru Hell 8.) Way out Sec.) Mysterious Halls

Every single mission was designed to be great for single player games. But I know, very many of you love deathmatch showdowns. So I desided to add deathmatch starts and additional weapons. None of this nine missions is huge, all missions can be finished within 15 minutes, provided you do not fool around.

  10. Planet Phobos

Planet Phobos brings you a hole Episode of new levels in the classic layout of the Doom-episode "Kneedeep in the Death"

This pwad for DOOM includes 10 maps. Nine of them are stored as episode #1, called 'Planet Phobos'. The tenth map replaces E2M9.

    1) CHECKPOINT 2) COMMAND BASE 3) CONTROL SQUARE 4) STORAGE 5) PHOBOS REFINERY 6) PHOBOS ODDITY 7) PRODUKTION PLANT 8) LAST OBSTACLES 9) PHOB'S END Only one tip. Do not enter that red elevator until you got powerful weapons and some ammo for them.

    10) LAST PRAYER The former secret mission of 'Planet Phobos' . I moved it to E2M9. So start episode 2 level 9 if you want to play it.

I implented Deathmatch Mode. But notice that this Episode was NOT designed for it. Never the less I guess these missions are not to worse for deathmatch. But it is not a very good idea to play a Coop-game. The hallways and rooms on some levels are so narrow and so small that you would shoot up your friends all the time. That would turn the game in a kind of deathmatch. So why not play deathmatch right from the beginning.

  13. PLEASURE.WAD

Welcome to the Pleasure Dome! This is where all of the posessed soldiers and sargents come to watch those marines die who will not succumb to posession by the demons infesting the world. This level is like the Roman Coloseums of old, except that you are the poor slob about to be fed to the beasts. They do give you a shotgun to try to duke it out with, but they don't expect you to last long. They just hope that your death will be entertaining.

A first attempt at making a reasonably sized DOOM map. It has quite a few outdoor areas included, and all three keys are used. I've tried to make it slightly non-linear so that it is more interesting.

An environmentalist's nightmare. Mostly toxic waste with some other areas to explore. (Hint: try to save the radiation suits) This is my first (successful) PWAD. Being able to navigate through the ooze quickly is a valuable asset in this level. I have been able to get through the level with the radiation suits provided, but don't get dis- couraged if it takes you several tries.

You must clear out the post yourself! You know that there are two yellow keys to the armory and the blue key is to get to the exit. The red key is to get into the command center.

  24. Preview To A Kill

Basically, this is a short, but entertaining, wad to replace E1M1. It's a preview for an episode that I will post soon. I've named it Preview To A Kill because it had the certain tackiness that is not present in DOOM. It's a fun level, IHMO. No bugs, for single, co-op, deathmatch. Has skill settings. Used DEU 5.21, BSP 1.1. I can't. Speak in complete. Sentences anymore. Anyways, try out the level; it's worth the download.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
