  1. PRINCTN1.WAD

This level was built using the actual floorplans of part of Wilson College, a dorm complex at Princeton University. The design features two large courtyards along with many of the dark hallways found in the buildings here. The dining hall is a particularly unpleasant area (both in this wad file and in reality.) For those familiar with Princeton, the buildings included are Clapp Hall, 1938 Hall, and Wilcox Hall.

  4. Processing Plant

This used to be the UAC subterrainian toxic waste processing plant, until the mishap. Things went wrong, so they called your team in to clean it up. To think this all started with an early morning waking dream where I visualized the area where you start off, especially the blue area off to your left.*8^)

  7. proto1.zip

This is my very first wad designed to be playable at any difficulty level thus avoiding the instant death, kill everything in sight kind of wads. There are a few traps and interesting rooms so give it a shot (no pun) and see what you think. This wad replaces E2M1 on Doom so it will only work with the registered version of Doom!!!!

  8. Prower's Gate to Hell

This level is the follow-up to Prower's Military Base which should be available the same place you found this wad. Prower's Military Base won both the Wad of the Week award and the Wad of the Day award, and has received good comments from the DooMing public. Play PRWRBASE.WAD first, available in PRWRBASE.ZIP at the same place you got this WAD(usually).

Proxyon Military Base was built on the planet Andromeda in the Alpha Cruxus system, known as Summer Row because of the five Earth-type worlds that orbit this G-type sun at comfortable distances. The whole system is possibly the richest non-mineral system in the galaxy.

  13. PSYCHO DEATH LEVEL

PREPARE TO DIE!!! This level is the toughest I have seen. I am convinced that it is IMPOSSIBLE to beat on the NIGHTMARE difficulty level (no codes!) Even I can't beat this level without using cheat codes, and I consider myself rather good at DOOM (plus, I made the level). If you've played the level and can't get out, remember to try every wall. You never know where you'll find a secret door...

This modular add-on replaces two episodes and five enemies. The episodes and also each new enemy is stored in a separate PWAD. The new second and third episode is stored in: --> PTWRATH.WAD (levels) + e2m9fix.wad, a bugfixed version of E2M9 A big floating white head (former Cacodemon). --> cocohead.wad (graphics) An insect alien thing (former pink Demon / Spectre). --> ptaliens.wad (graphics and sounds) A flying green insect alien thing (former Baron of Hell). --> flybaron.wad (graphics), flybaron.deh (behaviour) Gory marines: They look like you but uglier. 17. PURPOSE.WAD

This is an E2M1 level that could just as easily be an E1M1 version but to keep it out of shareware hands I made it an E2. (really guys, you should go ahead and register. You won't be disappointed.) The idea here wasn't to create a huge level but instead this is to be used as a launching point for additional levels/missions. The puzzles are basic and the shootouts (IMHO) are fun rather than always being cut-throat.

  20. Quad Wads - Doom / Ultimate Doom version

All three of these wads are designed the same; one for Doom 1, one for Doom 2, and one for Heretic. It is a fast paced level that usually results in a lot of frags. The layout of the walls and transporters is identical in all three levels so if you learn one, you've learned them all. After many hours of,... ah,... "testing", we've found that this is one of the best layouts for deathmatch play.

  22. Quake dOOm v1.0

This is mainly a Deathmatch WAD, but some single-player support has been added, too. COMPLETELY NEW! Not at all like my pervious WADs, which were modifacations on id's levels. This is COMPLETELY NEW! I reccomend that you use this for Deathmatch, but you can test it out on single. This is an attempted port of id's Quake level, E1M1. Just the layout was copied, however. And even not that completely. New lifts, and extra areas abound. Not ported using any external programs.

  24. QUATRO.WAD

Much ammo, weapons, monsters (especialy cacodemons - I like them), spider boss on skill >=3 in multiplayer game. Different exits for singleplayer and multiplayer games. In multiplayer one player must press switch to open doors to exit and another go thru this door. Level was originally designed as a deathmatch level, but also good for cooperative and singleplay.

  25. Queen of the DoomWeb a Study in Plasma

As you stride down to the burning city of Hell On Earth you note a baron reading a sign. The baron appears rather annoyed at the weathered sign reading "Under Construction - please come back in October." The baron gives one final scream and heads for a rock outcropping. You follow - and find yourself teleported along with the baron back to his queen's layer (nix your armor and all weapons but your pistol)!

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
