  2. Seamless 2: A Fake Circle

    Seamless 2 is a Vanilla Ultimate Doom map taking slot of E1M2 that makes no use of "use" lines. The theme is "base", there are about 120 monsters and the map takes less than 10 minutes to beat. The keys are MacGuffins. The difficulty is easy, to the point where the difference between HMP and UV is marginal and relies mostly on more health & ammo pickups on HMP. Unfortunately, despite taking slot of E1M2, it cannot be played seamlessly in ZDoom ports with the first Seamless because I have foolishly inserted a MAPINFO there that prohibits it.

  4. Train Station: Episode 1

    NOTE: Please be aware that this is not 100% complete. Not all of the maps have wehi (weapons, enemies, health, items).

    I made this map pack for a forum I was on during 2009. The forum host and I were the only ones active and we went our separate ways a few months later when he decided to upgrade his forum and I was roaming around the net.

    I had to change the title of the wad because I don't want to get in trouble with him, or anyone else.

    These 8 maps are based off of a train station, train tracks, a tower, and a prison (please don't ask why because it was 7 and a half years ago).

    Earth date December 10, 2010. Location UAC branch of Jakarta, South East Asia. Local Time 18:35. Monsters from hell just spawned in UAC complex. UAC has deployed their truck to pick you up, along with your 5 other pals to help them. But the only person sit in the secret compartment is you. :) The truck got attacked, just after it entered the complex. You were knocked unconcious... minutes later, you got out from the compartment and tried to find your pals. "Where are they ?" "Where are inhabitants of this complex ?" "If they are dead, where are the corpses?" Thus, the adventure begins... Later, you will find them all. but, they are dead. EVACUATE is your priority then.

  9. Something Awful, part 3 - 7 + 6

    So, in the 1st part of this map, the nameless hero (not Doomguy!) got to a teleport, which should have taken him to the rescue ship. But, if it did, there wouldn't be a part 3-7+6, would it? The hero appeared in a _very_ tight room, with a switch in front of him, a locked door behind him, and with a complete mess in his brain. "NO! I DON'T WANT TO SEE THOSE UGLY MONSTERS AGAIN! I JUST WANT MY TEDDY BEAR! NOOOOO!" -- shouts the nameless hero -- "WHY ME?!". After a minute of intense thinking, shouting, screaming and other manifestations of pure fear, he finally said "Hey, this goddamn switch should do something, right?". His next thought was "Hang on, where's my shotgun? I remember having it! This place literally radiates creepiness. I have the feeling that things will be getting even more weird. Let's check it out. Besides, begging for my teddy bear ain't exactly the definition of 'hero', is it?" -------------------------------------------- I'm pretty sure this doubled the amount of text you read this year.     OK, so... The year is 2147, the year when the events od DooM 1 and 2 occur. While the Doomguy is single-handedly participating in an unequal battle against the hordes of Hell, another marine is caught in the middle of this mess. He is not the Doomguy, he is not the hero, he is just a man _ with his will _ to survi-ive. Caught in a computer section of UAC, he must get to the portal outside, where he might be saved. Please, disregard the rubbish I wrote on the last 10 lines and remember uncle Carmack's opinion about video game plots. ---------- When it comes to the map: you might be surprised because there is not a single medkit on the entire level. (not even in secret areas) There are 2 chainguns on the level: one comes with a noticeable health loss, the second one is hidden, however, having those makes the level too damn easy.

  11. SERENITY v2.0

    This set of 8 levels has been made with the word quality in mind. It's Mind here, not Muscles! Many days and weeks have gone into testing, designing and fine-tuning. Although this isn't a hack&kill kind of level, you will get your share of bloody action (especially when playing "Ultraviolent"). Some of the levels may be a breeze, others may be a real pain in the *ss. But remember one thing: YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE THE CHEATS!!! There are a few very though places, but they can be done. When it seems you can't get around them without using the cheats, you may be doing it the wrong way and/or you may have missed one or more (valuable!) hidden rooms (which contain power-ups, weapons and/or ammo). Hidden rooms, by the way, can always be recognized in some way (different texture, different light-level, etc.). To give you a rough estimation of how long it will take you to finish this level: it took us more than half an hour to finish SERENITY on "Hurt Me Plenty". But then again: we know them inch by inch...

  16. Station Zero

    This is my very first released level. It's supposed to take place in a UAC military station that has been invaded by demons. Not much else to say, really. I hope you don't hate it too much, being it is my first released map...

    Oh, and, this is an oldschool type map that, as far as I tested it, works with vanilla Doom.

  19. Tough Guy 2016

    Back when Doom was shiny, new and exciting, in June 1994, Rick Farmer released a level which he named TOUGHGUY.WAD. The main gimmick of the level were "silent teleporters". Kinda. The level came with a BAT file to replace the necessary sprites, but as it relied on DOS utilities, playing TOUGHGUY in 2016 is a pain in the neck. So I took the sacrifice, included all the sprites and sounds and released this for j00 to behold its tutti-fruttic 1994 magnificence. Other than the included sounds and sprites, I did NOT change a damn thing about this very tough wad.

    THE school is a hell. Everyone knows it. But for you, things are just getting worse... Nobody really understands why you spend your time by the computer... Nobody understands you at all... Nobody even wants to understand you... You are being looked down... You are being mocked... You have no place in their society... You hate them, their selfishness and all... and you wish you'd have the courage to say it aloud.In your school card there is a mentioning "ASOCIAL." You are really feeling down... depressed... You think about committing suicide, but then you realize it's not what you want to do. You should make the others suffer rather than yourself! That is the real point. Next day, you go to school as usual... As you open the door, many voices with nothing to say strike your ears. That is quite what you expected. Then you see HER. The one you were once interested in, the only one of those fools you wanted to be kind to, and who told all the school of your desperate actions. She just smiles at you with overlook. Then she says: "Hello, Dirty One! How are the fleas today? Why are you gasping? There should be a law against freaks like you that prohibits stinking at school." You hit her. You hit her again, again, again, again, again... Satisfaction... OOPS! You've really made a mistake now. Not considering her miserable life worth anything, but YOUR life... They'll never forgive you THIS... They'll surely get you, they surely will. The punishment will be terrible... But one thing is sure... They'll never get you alive! You will fight! You will kill them all! You will burn the schoolbuilding out of the map as if it never has existed... Who cares if you are right or wrong! It's your destiny... it's your hell... it's your SCHOOL-DOOM!

  23. spooky01.WAD, issue 1

    A small, dark, gothic style doom1 map - 262kb when unzipped.

    I suggest you turn the lights down for this one. I have tried to create a genuinely eerie atmosphere - lots of long shadows, silhouettes etc. Just in case you don't have Ultimate Doom, I have included the yellow sky which looks sooooooo good!!

    Ammo is strictly limited. This is not an insane 'all rocket launchers blazing' affair, instead aim carefully and shoot wisely. If you don't like that sort of map then that's too bad!

    ..No, you don't need any source port for this wad. Doom is a great game and best left untouched...

    I would really like to see some .lmp's of people playing my wads. 100% kills on UV? - well I'd like to see it! Please feel free to mail me your demo recordings (v1.9 compatible please).

  24. STATIONX.WAD Ver 2.0

    The genetic experiments at the Universal Acme Corp. have gotten out of hand. You must clean up the mess, find the computer control central, shut it down and destroy it. This wad shows off many of the neat things DOOM can do. This is a polished wad with NO HOM and full alignments. Plenty of ammo and weapons if you use the right strategy. This level is designed for strategy and playability. Watch out for traps! You WILL be killed the first time through! Full support for single, multi-player and deathmatch.

  25. Sewer Control (release 3)

    It seems a bunch of demons has invaded the sewer control system, and have plans to flood the city with raw sewage! After a bit of straw-drawing, you have been sent in to get rid of them. Unfortunately, they could only find a pistol to arm you with. You think it'll be easy. You wish. --- Changes in release 2: Too many to count, with almost every room in the level being altered in some way and the addition of some completely new rooms. Areas which have been given significant revamps are the water channel, the switch maze and the technical corridor. Changes in release 3: Added a tag number to the teleporter instead of relying on the landing being the only one in the level! (This did seem to be working, but it was horrific practice.) Rebuilt nodes with BSP. Reformatted .TXT file. Changed filename to SWRCTL/WAD, to bypass the RISC OS 10-character filename limit.

      To me, this is yet other E1 style full-episode, it's plays good, not too bad, just like the original E1 but getting lost so easily. And unless you're doing Pistol-start or your ammo will be TOO MUCH, well, it's not author's fault as id did the same shit on the original E1 too, but on 2013 it may just a little awkward.   Most of levels just plays like typical E1 levels, nothing too special but for those who like the E1 should like this too, unless "getting lost/multi-ways" is not something you like...for me, I just do "sv_fastweapons 1" after E1M9 beaten, shame on me, I know, but that's why E1 style just too easily to fall into a boring monsters-killing-fest if nothing so special, and until E1M8, I didn't see any of them so special...maybe some secrets...:\   Overall, I would say it's fine E1 episode replacement, for those who love this kind of levels.

      Old map from 95. Not really intresting design, but I didn't find any wrong alignments homs or whatever. Monster placment is ok. Except one room cramped with trees and mass of hitscanners without any cover. Progression is very confusing, you may find some unintended shortcuts which confuses even more.

      Akimbo weapons are nothing new but it is nice to see the Doom weapon line-up to be duel-wielded. Maps that are tight on ammo can be a problem and the secondary fire modes are rather underwhelming, with some being straight-up worse than if you shoot normally. Otherwise, it's a fun mod.

      Classic style, plays so id feel, good and bad designs too, since it was designed for the DTWID project and then rejected. Impossible to get 100% kills because a monster cannot get teleport out with 1-time only teleport line...   If you like the old-school id style, this one is for you, if you're not, well, maybe give it a try if you don't really hate id levels.

      The maze part is killing me. With Doom's 3D capabilities building a maze is something one might try to show to friends or try out for oneself, but not release as a map for the public!   Because the maze does not work. And it is not AS difficult, just very tedious.   And it is a pity, because there are several very cool areas in the map. The area with white platforms is very nice, although it definitely needs more lighting. Everything is way too dark.   Anyway, a very uneven map, with a lot of corridors and several cool rooms. All in all, a fail as a map, a worthy specimen to look at for some design inspiration.
