About This File

Basically a large base type level. This level is HUGE (But not insanely hard) You find yourself in a secondary military base, some distance from the other, ill fated base.

It is located deep in the gray, foggy mountain range. You have to escape and ascend a nearby mountain.

Very large, nonlinear E1-style map for Boom, showcasing many typical features for early Boom maps such as transparency. The start is difficult, with numerous possible routes, many of which are very dangerous, scarce ammo, and fire from multiple directions, but the map becomes much easier once you acquire more firepower and the difficulty stays down. Architecture and gameplay are good. 4/5 --Woolie

Bad: Some texture errors; Loud "Godfather" MIDI wasn't appreciated. Good: Large level; Good, subtle use of Boom 3D effects. Overall: Could be a little harder, but a recommended play. 3/5 -VV

      A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.

      Conceptually not bad, it's a pretty imposing tower with some decent lighting, but no ammo at all despite having the guns and a VERY obscure way to rise up the floor in the lava pit? That's a big downer. But overall, it's ok.

      Well, the map is pretty basic. The map is quite challenging, with there being 0 ammo pickups (excluding the backpack) outside of the starting room. There are also nazis for some reason. I will give it 2 stars only because this really wasn't meant to be played to be enjoyed, but rather just a example of how to build a map in DEU.
