About This File

This is a fantasy super-weapons patch for Doom2, featuring a complete set of awesome telekinetic weapons. The player's face in the status bar has been modified, and there are also some changes to the monsters, things and texts.

New to this version (by Sparky): - updated the DeHackEd file to Patch Format 6 for use with Doom2 v1.9 - renamed the files to meet standard conventions and deleted the patch program (this version will not run with 'Plain Vanilla' Doom2). - fixed the nul sprites and sounds so that they worked correctly with the various Source Ports (the original version either crashed the Source Port, or the modified sprites were ignored and the weapons just appeared normally).

Haha, maybe funny if not taken seriously. Having said that, it's completely useless if not combined with a map with hypermonsters. As this is the case: small 1/5 for the effort.

Have to admit, the idea of a gun so powerful that it instantly puts you in the next map gave me a chuckle.

That this had six votes and 0 stars was no mistake. This is a horribly crappy wad and deh patch that makes your weapons invisible (so you can't tell which one you're using!) and overpowers them with stuff like exploding bullet puffs and yes, the BFG described in the text file that calls the Romero death code. Truly, there is nothing of value to be seen here.

Garbage. That's the only thing I can say about this. GARBAGE.

I don't think the author playtested this wad before uploading it to the archives. Not only does this squander his potential, but the fact that this was uploaded ELEVEN years ago makes it far too late to fix his mistakes. Let this be a lesson: if you're gonna upload a wad on Doomworldm make sure it works.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
