About This File

In one of the few remaining forests of earth, the UAC has been testing a new type of interdimensional teleportel. Deemed "fail safe," these new models are equipped with spawn seeking BFGs. Of course, to test the BFGs, monster test subject were needed. So, under close supervision, the monsters were kept in individual cages at the base. One day, taking an imp back to a cage, the marine turned around to close the cage up. That split-second cost him his life and soon, most of the monsters were roaming the base.

The few survivors who were able to get to a teleportal knew something had to be done or else the hellspawn would figure out how to disable the security system from inside the base and possibly bring forth another Spawn of Hell even worse then before. This cannot be allowed to happen. So, of course, you're the only man for the job. Dropped off in a courtyard where you were given the location of a tunnel into the base, you entered it and found yourself trapped in the base. The UAC cannot risk sending someone else to get you so the only way out is to clean out the base and get to the teleportal. Already you have been told of some terrifying monsters deep inside the complex, but you just shrug, you've seen worse...

This is dated July 2000, love to love you baby. It's not bad, although it feels much older. The layout is a wooden dungeon (rather than an actual forest) with 150+ mostly weak baddies. There's a dearth of environmental detail so it feels very bland, and there's nothing obviously source-porty. Starts off easy, gets a tiny bit harder as it goes on. I managed to break the penultimate teleport and never got to play the end battle properly.

This has some missing textures and maybe a unclosed sector. It's not the best but have played worse. 4/15/07

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
