About This File

This is a single-player-only version of the "Doom Must Fall" TC originally supplied as 1DMF.ZIP. DMF-SP features new monsters and weapons based on the game "One Must Fall" from Epic Software.

The original version only worked with the original Doom, it contained 22 files, and modified your original Doom .wad and .exe files. This version has been updated to work with Ultimate Doom v1.9. DMF-SP contains only 3 files (dmf-sp.deh dmf-sp.wad dmf-sp.txt), and is designed primarily for use with Doom Source Ports which can import DeHackEd patches and pwads containing sprite graphics; such as: Boom, PRboom, MBF, SMMU, PrjDoom, ZDoom, ZDoomGL, Legacy, etc.

See below for: a) a list of the changes made by Sparky b) a detailed description of running DMF-SP with 'Plain Vanilla' Ultimate Doom and various Doom Source Ports.

Surreal psycho-robot salad. Love that frantic chessboard arena fight vs Cyberdemon. Slow moving rockets??

It ranks up there with Aliens TC and The Unholy Trinity.

Some maps are fun, others have some weird switch combinations to put pressure in the player, I didn't have a good time with these maps. Just read vdgg review.

Similar to his Iron Halls, square rooms, no keys, interior bloody sewer, few floor height variations. Good gameplay. Quake-y sounds.

A pretty good map semi-slaughter map that uses the Ancient Aliens textures and monsters, is a voyage into some purple/cyan place where you have to climb a fireblu cake after solving a simplicity-like puzzle (cool, i'm one of the 10 people that remember of "Simplicity", do you remember when 13/15 years ago that megawad was the stunning trend in mapping?), overall is a fun map, even if doesn't have too much ammo for beating all the resistance, at least for me.

Linear indoor action, no keys, some quake sounds, cool play if you don't care about boring textures. Totally opposite to his later style -> Gigantic-exteriors.

Pretty cool map for the 1994 standards, good layout and gameplay, even with the high number of monsters (128 on HMP), the level is pretty straightforward but pretty fun.
