This is a relatively small base level. Motif is similar
to parts of Deimos Lab (E2M4 of Ult. Doom). Textures used
are mainly COMPBLUE and COMPSPAN plus some metal and stone.
The only enemies you will find are humans -- lots of them.
Ammo is not a problem. However, the end is difficult so
come prepared. The bad guys do not play fair.
This wad can be played on either Ultimate Doom or Doom 2.
HMP and below are the same for both games. However, UV
is not. In Ult. Doom, HMP and UV are the same. In Doom 2,
UV contains things exclusive in that game (namely chaingun
soldiers), and is slightly harder than HMP in either game.
I advise you try HMP first since it is the standard
difficulty for both games.

You are in a base filled with enemy soldiers. Clean the base out.
Seriously, there is no story. Just shoot at anything that moves.
One important feature of this level is the "blue barrier" that
seals off the exit. In single-player or coop, this acts as a
trap. In deathmatch, it seals off the exit to prevent a quick
The barrier can be controlled. The switches in either of
the two rooms that flank the exit corridor raise the barrier
instantly. To lower the barrier, "use" it from the outside.
The barrier takes thirty seconds to lower fully.
