About This File

Once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away...

NUTS.WAD!!!!

THE STORY SO FAR... You are assigned to destroy the final Hellspawn army on Litrivin IV. The government sends you all alone becuase you got drunk at the General's Birthday party last year and he never liked you since. Since this is the biggest Hellspawn army ever esstablished, the cheap-ass General sends you with nothing but a pea shooter. Good luck.

This wad sucks, it's nothing more than 10,000 monsters all in one giant open area, your wasting your time if you download this piece of shit.

Lol at the retards who were convinced this level was serious, the creator made this level as a test upload because he wasn't sure if .wad files could be uploaded properly. :P

Heres a a way to win: Type FHHALL. All monsters die instantly, except Lost Souls. This cheat does not work on Legacy. Dont know about other ports though. I loved wadeing through the corpes after using it. 5/5. (P.S, some one put a crushing ceiling above those those monsters!!!) -Andreil Darkstorn

Mmm,. interesting. Would be funny to test such a wad. I once wanted to try this with DEU just for the heck of it, but I was bored to copy so much monsters ;P

This is basically The Battle of the Somme: The Computer Game. It's a large arena with 9,000 mostly tough monsters, followed by a smaller arena with 2,000 or so cyberdemons, archviles, and spider masterminds. You start on a raised platform, and can get quite far by doing a running jump, and surfing over the heads of the baddies. Remember - each one of those monsters had a mother.

THis lags on a Vista. Nice job creating the hardest level ever.

A lot of monsters but completable (I did it in 1' 14" killing ~ 50% monsters, I used GlBoom -320*200 and framerate was around 3 fps opening the 2nd room) it is fun stupid and not so bad.

Putting all these monsters must have took years. 1/5 for effort.

Ridiculous numbers of monsters in a room...
whatever. It's almost like it's 1993 and you've
just finished making your first 'level'.

Only the NASA's computer can load this wad with a maximum of 10 frames/seconds. Awful! When all monsters alerted run with 1 frame/second.

An uninteresting experimental WAD, pushing any engine to its limits. Good for benchmark testing with engines under development. --1/5

Whats funny about this ridiculously infamous wad is that it has a storyline! Nuts 2 was the best, and Nuts 3 is just as bad as this one (if not worse) regarding its toll on performance. 3/5

Even with god mode and infinite ammo on the BFG it still takes way too long. Can anyone really beat this WAD? More importantly, who cares?

WOW. I loaded this WAD in Doom95 and my computer fucked itself sideways. Loaded in ZDoom and it ran ok, but still choppy. The best techneque for this WAD is to punch the air to wake the monsters up, and rely on infighting. You can also go "monster surfing" over their heads. Do not open this in Vanilla Doom ;) 2/5 -r_rr

I don't know why this wad enchants me so, but everytime I play it, I want a better computer. This wad makes me strive for a better computer just so I can see what it would be like if I had perfect framerate with all 10,617 peeps attacking me.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH HHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!1 So many monsters, so many fireballs, such slow frame rate. How could something this absurd get five stars? It's hilarious! The story is awesome, and I wish my computer could run this properly because that would make it more playable.
