About This File

Medium sized, base theme, very non-linear. There's a reason why you get a chainsaw right at the start. Use it or lose it.

i am not a huge fan of over non linear maps like this one...texture is brown all over and detailing is basic too..gameplay is okayish but rely on low ammo/health....seems a Formula type map..not bad but pretty average

Many routes to many deaths, great monster placement and the conserve on ammo thingie just enhance the experience. A great level and recommended coldfusio

A non-linear design done well, for a change. There's only one key to find, so it's a matter of getting it and getting out unless you want to play exterminator, but there's many different routes you can take. It's quite tight on gear, though, and very brown, but otherwise quite good overall.

Perfect balance of ammo / enemies / health. Finished with 6% health and 6 bullets. Nice map, possibly a little bland, but still a good challenge. 4/5

5 (Very Good) on my own (0-6) scale. Get it and play it.

Great level design, but I don't like the severe lack of ammunition in this map and I don't like having to start in front of two shotgun guys and immediately picking up the chainsaw. 4/5

Pretty good. I like the design and the lack of ammo made the chainsaw quite useful.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
