About This File

It is written in the Holy Bible:

"Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. [...] They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us."
- 1 John 2 18-19

"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see wheather they are from God, because many false prophets have gone into the world"
- 1 John 4 1

"Many deceivers, [...] have gone into the world. Any such person is the Deceiver and the Antichrist."
- 2 John 7

In the year 2055 it is clear to mankind who the deceivers are that John spoke of in his Apocalypse.

For some hundred years they have revealed themselfs in great numbers. Their numbers kept growing and so did the number of their followers. They said they were just ordinairy people but they do not fully believe in the way of God. They only believe in their way.

These spirits cannot be trusted. They falsly claim their way is the path to true knowledge and call this false prophecy SCIENCE.

Many of these deceivers are among us now. Any one of them is the Deceiver and the Antichrist who calls himself SCIENTIST.

*NOTE*: Please do not take this story to seriously; There is no quarrel between Science and God (since one of them does not exist).

Very cool level design and clever architecture. It's linear and rather easy, but highly enjoyable. Despite using of vanilla doom2, levels are quite detailed and realistic (especially soviet levels :). My only complaints - lack of solid final boss battle (except killing two spiderdemons through the way) and strange SSG graphic replacement. Overall, sci.wad is a great example of atmospheric mapset utilizing doom2.exe capabilities. 5/5 -- Brun Ohn

11 new maps divided into 2 episodes. The first episode plays in a city the second in a snow-covered land. These maps were made to run without a source port and the author is really pushing the original .exe to it's limit! Very nice gameplay and lots of cool details and well worked out new ideas.

Pretty darn good. Only bad thing is the stupid anti-Soviet plot.

This wad is cool. You get to visit all sorts of realistic places that have been taken over by hell monsters. One of these locations is an old soviet base, which apparently made some people believe the wad contains a political message. Well, I couldn't detect any. It's a good level pack, not a political statement. Looking forward to the sequel! - OctO
