About This File

This wad got its inspiration from the power plant in Total Recall. Try to remember that it is only inspired by it, not designed to look exactly like it. There are 8 Deathmatch starts, no monsters since this is NOT a single player map although you can, of course, look at the map if you like. Weapons available for fragging your buddies are the pistol (naturally), chainsaw (for that up close and personal frag), Shotgun, Super shotgun, chaingun and rocket launcher. I left the Plasma rifle and BFG out. There is also no exit in this level.

Copy and paste syndrome all over the place, Oh and the retarded overused Episode 5 textures don't make you special or the wad any better than it its. 1/5.

Awful, I can't even fire rockets at the other sides of the map cause of the fucking power things in the fucking way. Seriously, work differently on deathmatch levels by making sure the player can actually HIT SOMETHING! Hate to say it but, 0/0 Rock1943

      A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.

      Conceptually not bad, it's a pretty imposing tower with some decent lighting, but no ammo at all despite having the guns and a VERY obscure way to rise up the floor in the lava pit? That's a big downer. But overall, it's ok.

      Well, the map is pretty basic. The map is quite challenging, with there being 0 ammo pickups (excluding the backpack) outside of the starting room. There are also nazis for some reason. I will give it 2 stars only because this really wasn't meant to be played to be enjoyed, but rather just a example of how to build a map in DEU.
