About This File

3 big battle rooms, to test your Doom ability. Only once you pass these 3 obsticles, then and ONLY then, can you claim the 'DOOM GOD' Trophy and exit the wad and get on with your lives. I actually took out hundreds of enemies so the FPS shouldn't go as ridiculously down as with Nuts.wad.

Why anyone would want to play this for more than 3 minutes is beyond me! I used to build wads like this back in the mid to late 90's, as a test / experiment, as I'm sure we all do but would not have dreamed of uploading it. Still get some slowdown and the weapon your given to complete this challenge is odd at best. 2/5

Worth playing just for the third room. Not to give it away, but I hope you're prepared for *anything*...

What a cruel joke it played on me on the 3rd room... T.T Regardless, an awesome game indeed. I loved blowing up the artificial marines in the hallway before the exit!

Much better than the first and third NUTS maps, because its much more gentle on PC performance (meaning there was A LOT LESS slowdowns). However, the difficulty's much easier than you think. 4/5

A very detailed (but nearly microscopic) techbase map.   The detailing is quite good - truly feels like a real place.   Gameplay wise, the map is too small to offer much of a challenge. It took me under 3 minutes to UVMAX. I enjoyed what was here, but really wanted to see more.   3/5

Decent map w/ a lot of symmetry - but that's to be expected from a WAD based on a real place.   I took it upon myself to look the library up on Google Maps, and you can definitely see what the author was going for architecturally - the library in this map is pretty close visually to the one in real life! It even has the little cube sculpture out front!   Doom isn't the best medium to recreate real places, but it does an adequate job here. In terms of gameplay, the map is very easy! One should have no problem beating this map on UV. The most difficult part of this map is its navigation. It is a little bit of a switch-hunt.   Monster placement is surprisingly good for a map of this type.   Check the map out, and then look it up on Google Maps! You'll definitely see the resemblance! :)

A bit of a cramped map, but there are many fun fights to see here. This is one of those maps w/ very little room to run around. You better be able to dodge revenant fireballs in close quarters if you are to have success here. This map isn't too difficult, but it is a fair challenge. I'd say it'd be a 6/10 on the difficulty scale today.   There is some mean archvile placement in this map, too. A lot of fights involve hit and run tactics, as there isn't nearly enough room to circle-strafe in this map. Because one can't circle-strafe, the map is far more difficult.   There is one absolutely great trap involving a dark corridor near the end of the map. I don't want to spoil it, as its quite a 'scary' section of the map.   I recommend you play w/ a port that supports MAPINFO, as there is a message at the end of the WAD when you win.   Great map from the early 2000s. Check it out!

Not at all bad. Quite a good time on UV. Most of the fights are against fodder type enemies - you rarely feel in danger at all throughout the entire level.   Map has a couple good traps, but most of the encounters are "groups of enemies standing in rooms" type encounters...   Not horrible, feels like an early map by this author, as if they were still trying to get their footing. Give this one a try, if you want some older 'classic' style gameplay.

The spidermastermind fight was fun - I had to get it to infight w/ a caco, in order for me to slide by and get the red key.   The map was easy to navigate, but was not much to look at. The map is very bland in its texturing theme, and architecturally, does not resemble an average  level from 2008. This visually looks like a map from a far earlier mapping period. Lots of 90-degree rooms, and very simple geometry.   Even w/ all of this in mind - it was still an okay 4-5 minutes worth of fun, even if a bit of a drab experience...
