About This File

This wad contain redefined Sprites like Arch-vile and other ordinaries Sprites, new textures (80%), new graphics, new music, and all new sounds. I've created this single WAD with the aim that it can be enjoyed not only playing it (WAD's complexity - 8200 sidedefs, a lot of TAG's numbers -almost 140- ), but listening it (Music & Sounds) and watching it (new textures, redefined Sprites, etc.)

Bravo, this is the 2nd Most Atmospheric wad i Ever played after ASYLUM OF THE WRETCHED...Its way ahead of its Age...love it or hate it but ought to give author,Proper credit for the efforts he/she puts here....its weak from Combat prospective but about Exploring its best...music and sounds are great.this map doesn't use eye-aching darkness to create Atmosphere like most other...

This early wad manages to create a pretty creepy and dreamlike atmosphere without any source port features. The monster count is pretty low, which enhances the tension of the map. It is unfortunately a little bit too long and it features a maze with pulsing lights :-(

Highly atmospheric and creative wad. Not exactly the standard Doom experience - it is kind of slow-moving and has an internal logic that takes some getting into - but well worth playing anyway.

This is dated March 1996. It's an ambitious map with lots of new textures and sounds, and feels like one of those heady early levels from before the rules existed. Nowadays it looks very crude, and it goes on far too long. The fights are few and far between and the whole level is a wandery switch-hunt - you have to flick a switch and the re-explore the level to find out what it did. It's mysterious enough to be memorable though.

A beautiful wad that takes you into a different realm. Immerse yourself in this one - you won't regret it.

^"...feels like one of those heady early levels from before the rules existed." What rules? That's half the problem with this community.

Longest level I ever played. Extremely technically detailed. Really good work. Many thanks to the author.

This map pwad sucks, sorry to say that. It was almost to be like DI, which somewhat captures the atmosphere. Fortunately, there is a complicated maze puzzle thing going and lots of riff-raff. Enemy encounters are sparse, but you know, whatevers. ~0/5, try to refrain from complicated maze puzzle stuff.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
