About This File

Get ready to move once you leave the first room. Lots of action. Good luck on the final blitz. This level is best with single player but is set up to be played with multiple players. Tough to play on less than 486.

The oldest of 4 levels by Jim McColm. It isn't as refined as the others, especially the texture alignment, but still features some interesting architecture, fine layout and fun fights. The final battle is great for 1994. Make sure to find the secret BFG! Also, this is the only of his maps without a custom midi by his brother which is a shame.

Pretty decent stuff. Over 200 monsters, and you might take two or three attempts to complete it without saving, especially if you don't locate the blue armour, which is fairly well concealed.

The only things which annoyed me about this were the fact that I never worked out how to get the chaingun, thus having to fire bullets solely with the pistol, and also that there was a small nukage pool which looked like an interesting place to explore, but turned out to be inescapable...

Nice level with lots of rooms, surprises, and winding narrow corridors.

I enjoyed it.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
