About This File

A Level that was originally made for a megawad (but got too complicated so I decided to release this level alone. (since it was the only decent level, in my opinion). This is my second released wad.

The previous reviews are misleading: this is not an unfinished map and it doesn't require ZDoom (works in Prboom-Plus for me). Anyway, it's a decent E1 style level. Simple and somewhat cramped rooms are mixed with cooler stuff (I really like the outside area). Main problem is that the map is very sparsely populated and you get lots of ammo so the action is boring for the most part. But I still liked it.

Um, either A) finish your maps before releasing them, or B) at least allow other people to make maps based off your start This is worthless trash how it is. 0 stars -sargebaldy

Short and very easy techbase with bright lighting and a bit of basic shadow work. Probably easier than the IWAD levels and is a bit of a switchhunt, though does include a couple of attractive design features. However why is it mysteriously E1M3? You use mostly Doom 2 textures anyway, shoulda just made it MAP01. Won't play in anything except ZDoom because the author doesn't know how to organise his WAD lumps properly. 2/5

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
