About This File

In an attempt to destroy this world from within, Apophis has created Uraeusis to achieve that goal. Chosen by Seth, you must battle your way through the Underworld and defeat Uraeusis.

**IMPORTANT** Disable "Scale Text in High Res" if you have it enabled, as this will crash the game.

How the hell do you beat the final boss? Other than that I had fun playing this TC.

5/5 Very Hard is VERY HARD. (hate those fliers) The weapons are neat, I love the bosses but the Anubis shield guard is annoying as hell. I adore the architecture and enjoy the puzzles. I would have preferred normal looking sprites as opposed to the 3d rendered ones but they aren't exactly hurting my eyes. My only real complaint is that it feels too short; I'd like to see a larger project based on this concept. -KMX E XII

Needs a lot of work. Levels are inconsistant, ranging from ok (The Underworld) to bad (Passage to Uraeusis Part 2). Ending was weak in comparison, needing more substance. Many of the "hi-res" sprites are too pixelated and not worth the MB. Gave LWM 3/5 for effort, but her work is over rated.

Pretty good, but the final boss is kind of weird. Am I supposed to be able to kill him?

Hated it. Ugly graphics, weak dialogue. First level didn't hook me at all; having to throw a dozen axes at a ugly grey thing isn't my idea of fun, neither is being killed with two three blows. I have no idea what the rest of it is like, and I don't care.

Didn't like this WAD at all. Too confusing to play, and the gameplay itself is just...uninspired. It could have been a very unique WAD, but it just feels so...stinted in its actual gameplay and level design.

Quite simply one of the best mods ever. Fantastic looking sprites, tough, cunning gameplay, interesting puzzles and a very consistent theme. The conversion is so total it's hard to believe this is Doom. They people who are saying bad things are wrong - plain and simple.

Um... on the third level with the boat ride, my game pretty much doesn't allow me to continue when the text message pops up even with high res disabled. Damnit?

One of the classic megawads, and the successor to TNT Evilution. I've played this several times over the years, and its grown on me more with each play as my tastes mature.   Still has a bunch of maps that got me killed in 2024, after ive finished stuff like HR and AV, and plenty of maps are memorable. Only real downsides is some of the levels have little content, showing its age.

One of the earliest Doom user maps and It shows. Despite the raw and empty design, the author take a good use of 3D space creating a small fortress surrounded by mountains, the level Is fun to play and not hard. A fancy escapade and a piece of modding history.

Third and final released map of a WIP episode by David Rager, it's more long, complex and hard than the previous entries in the series. A well made map with pretty challenging parts with a mix of monster usage, envoirnmental hazards and some puzzle gameplay. Fun but pretty harsh.

Two more misplaced DM maps without a exit like QUDOOM (that at least had a exit room, while not functional) that caught me by their file name and leave me for the bad experience in SP. Chicken is just a long bridge between a thundering abyss where cyberdemons wants to destroy you, meh. Gangstar is a more fun map sets in a big, abstract warehouse where a cyberdemon roam free trying to kill you, shotgunners and lost souls are here in this Hell corner adding more pain to the thing, enforced by semi-hidden mazes, my favorite.

This is like the physical version of the "we have X at home" meme in DM map format for Quake E1M1. Very poorly made, broken exit and missing textures here and there but at least the level KINDA resembles the original source somehow.
