Batman DOOM

Extremely polished total conversion with many gameplay/technical innovations.

There were no exits i can't find any but it rocks.

I was unimpressed. It must have taken ages to do, and I applaud that kind of commitment. But it's still very crude, and suffers from the "uncanny valley" effect, whereby it feels more like a poor-quality commercial Doom-engined game from 1995 than a top-quality total conversion.

I hate batman, but i give this 5/5 anyway! amazing work

One word: WOW! Everyone who is seriously interested in modding for Doom should learn from this. ACE Team, I salute to You. 5 Stars without any doubts, but I would give it 10 stars if it was possible..-NMN

Considering the fact that this was made for Vinally Doom, this is extremely impressive. I've always loved this wad (along with Batman =P). -Tango

I totally respect this wad but it is not my cup of tea to be honest. I didn't enjoy it personally but you'd still have to be an idiot to not give it 5*.

terrible textures horrible gameplay. consists of throwing a toys-r-us esque "thing" at angry black guys and the melee appears to be batman making the hand gesture for masturbation. its only noteworthy because of popularity

eh.. was never a huge batman fan but i supose it is well made for what it is

DOOM's engine, for some reason, has held up better than even some more "recent" games! This is the best compromise between Arkham Asylum's Batman and just running around whacking the bad guys!

its all messed up, i wonder what version of zdoom to use. or maybe im installing it wrong or something. but it looks awsome. i can't wait to get it work properly. the textures are awsome. 5/5 - Xolzo (I love comics too, my uncle gave me like 1000 comics in one day)

This was great for its time, and looking past some of the cheesy sound effects and the like, is still very good. The legends were true. Batman DOOM.

This wad is so good it wraps around the scale and becomes bad. Then it becomes even better and is great again. 5 stars

Hitscan enemies everywhere. Waiting behind doors, shooting you moment you open them. Standing behind vegetation or furniture, hitting you just fine while your projectiles hit said furniture or vegetation. Standing on other side of city-style maps and sniping you. Every hit takes large chunk of B-man's health. Also, this TC is glitchy as hell under zdoom, even with zdoom patch. I often had to restart maps or warp to next map.
