About This File

A collection of larger maps than normal Doom2. Should provide about four hours of play on Ultra-Violence. Three of these maps were released in earlier versions as "Perdido", 1,2 & 3.

Not bad. But sad only 12 levels again.

a very old-skool wad with some very questionable design choices that are a turnoff. some of the combat isn't too good, although the wad gets a little better later on. my biggest complaint is that the red key on MAP06 is missing on lower difficulties and can't be completed without noclip otherwise.

I played this 12 level wad November of 2014 and it was pretty fun. I blasted through the levels as fast as I could playing aggressively. I found level 1 to be the hardest and level 2 looked good at first but then I got lost a few times. A good classical wad on the easy side. Dick tested, cock approved.

Great stuff. Really classic feel to these levels and very enjoyable to play. Good to see you've got Gene Bird helping out. - pritch.

Pretty nice looking, though some bits where a little bare, good usuage of monsters too, not many "big" ones until later levels, but its still challenging. It reminds me a bit of the original DSV, which is pretty cool considering you said you got inspiration from Kaiser..the maps are a bit more detailed than DSV's though XD

Pretty good maps, even if rather simplistic. Definitely didn't deserve the mockery it got in /newstuff. I think the guy was probably put off by the first level or two, which are probably the weakest/most annoying maps in the whole thing. 4/5

Warning! Someone has found a serious bug in map06 of this set. The red key does NOT exist at skill levels 1-3! Very sorry about this, but no way to correct it now.

The maps have a typical mid-90ies feeling. They're not overly detailed, neither do they show new ideas in editing. But they're fun nontheless, though not too challenging. The maps are all medium-sized with mostly week to medium monsters and only a few boss battles. 3.5/5 -Milian

Masterpiece!!! (I corrected the bug of the missing red key for Map06). JSGraham, a Kaiser's avatar?!? Everything is perfectly well balanced: gameplay, ammos, health, architecture... Everything! So, I gave a "5 stars". Jive for DLW

Pretty decent set. Not the best, but worth 4 stars. BTW, his later map set Crimson Canyon is an even better set by him IMO.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
