About This File

Yes, I did another Weapons mod. This one is sort of like P0wer Weap0ns, in that it has some ridiculously overpowered guns here. However, all the baddies are ridiculously overpowered, too, so that helps balance stuff out. Anyway, this is all laser weapons and stuff. Okay, I'm finished talking now. BYe.

Fairly decent. Some of the weapons plain out suck (power-wise), but it's a fairly creative modification.

Not my favorite of Xaser's weapons mods. For some reason, the Pistol replacement doesn't shoot anything (maybe it's because I'm on Skulltag, I don't know). The rest of the weapons are fairly decent, though the lack of "lasers" disturbs me. The BFG replacement's pretty pathetic as well. Still, it's better than 1337 Guns, so 3/5.

The weapons are good (more creative than anything Daniel has done except for the BFG replacement in Armas 14.) but having a done up version of "Caco's Revenge" to replace the enemies hurts. 3/5

This would be a fairly strong candidate for a 5-star rating (if it were a joke wad). There was a bit of a problem of understanding of a monster in this wad. The majority of the monsters were decently modified, but the cacodemon? Oh geez laweez: it is truly *ANNOYING* to have an enemy that is truly invincible to all weapons, yet serves *absolutely no purpose* to the game other than to annoy the players. My rating: 3.5 stars

      Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

      It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

      What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

      thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.
