About This File

This TNT Episode has three different aims. The first aim is to give me alternation during my work on XMASDM2 and Netherworld. The second aim is to get me back to my brown and evil TNT-style editing and the 3rd and most important aim is to provide you with one more episode of TNT to bridgeover the developement time of TNT4 ;)

What a boring wad, I took more time downloading it than the time I played it. Avoid.

I wish it had as much scripting as TNT 2 and 3, but it is an excellent map in every other way and deserved a 5/5! - Kak Home

I fucking love this wad but its just way to hard for me but I still love it and all the torment and tourture wads. I hope when he makes the compilation of all them he ads lower dificulty settings because I just cant beat these without cheating and thats just no fun.

No fun to play, so it basically fails it, despite its undeniable merits.

No less than I expected from Tormentor. This one seems to be the hardest of all the TNTs though. It also uses more MRW monsters than the previous TNTs which adds to the variation of the gameplay. Layout/Design is what you would expect from a TNT.... Dark and Gorgeous. The gameplay is hard as fuck though. All in all I give this a 4/5................. ...............

Simply legendary! Its very hard and challenging, but it can be done. I loved how the attention to detail was applied to this level. The music ("Chateau" from Matrix Reloaded) went pretty well with the level as well. I also loved how the MAJORITY of the monsters in the level were the new monsters from the Monster Resource Wad. Its definitely the best TNT yet! A must download! 5/5

Finally, another level that was worth my time. Despite the railgunners, the secret area and the final area were the best parts of the map.

I don't understand why there are so many nice looking maps around which are way too hard, use a proper difficulty setting (this map even havn't one) 3/5

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
