cool how this one looks, gameplay is alright. nothing much else to it, really, except for a few deaf-flagged demons which I missed.

From the reviews I was expecting a lot more from this. It's ok and looks nice, but nothing more than that really. Plus I don't think the music really fits either. A standard 3/5

i think the musick fits perfect and it has more than good looks the battles were fun and the map desine was flawliss grate job Ray Schmitz on this doom masterpece.. 5/5

Very very good map. Excellently detailed, clever construction, well themed, some great tricks, ammo's tight without being so difficult it's not fun. This is the level all mappers should aspire to. Wish it was longer. 4.5/5 -jj

Decidedly average. Rather boring SSG fights, a nicely detailed outside area combined with bland texturing (somewhat AV21 inspired). Short but not sweet. 3/5 - Belial

Doesn't play very good overall but the main outdoor area is an absolute must-see of course.

There is a scene in this level that has some of the greatest architecture I have ever seen in Doom.

Nice short level. The level design was nice and I liked how the demons were charging out of the castle and into the teleport. The music was kinda crappy.

Best I've played in quite a while. Been playing a little Doom 3 recently. Wads like these remind me why Doom 2 is so much better.

The last monster i killed was with my last bullet. Perfect. Looks freaking cool too! makes Doom look like a true 3d game!

It's not bad, but the action could have been improved, as the space available isn't being used to the monsters' advantage enough. I prefer the looks of the outer areas, as the tiny details inside don't look really so good (some of it even looks gratuitous or repetitive). ~Chain Mail [3/5] (07/2008)

Looks gorgeous, but it's very short, and the gameplay is fairly dull. There's a bug that prevents you from getting 100% kills. The setpiece with the demons coming out of a distant castle is very clever, although it's a shame so many of them teleport to the other side of a fence, where you can blow them away risk-free. It is strange that the video for Klaus Nomi's version of "Falling in Love Again" should become popular in 2006.

Achingly pretty and good fun to play too. Right up there. - pritch
