Best pwad ever made. I expect that it's underrated because of its extrem difficulty. But I won the final battle against 1304 monsters without cheating, at skill 4, without auto-aim. So, It's playable!!! The dumbass who wrote "mapping kinda sucks" should be suspended by the balls. It's really an idiot. And the one who wrote "average and somewhat boring" is another fuckin moron. The only negative point is about the secret areas, very badly thought (some are even impossible to discover). 5/5 - Jive

Just from the description T/nc gave it I knew it would feel a bit like Doom 3 even before a I played. The chainsaw zombies only confirmed that premonition ;) Excellent work!

@cacomonkey, the exit is bugged because the WAD requires ZDoom 2.0.63a. Even in later versions of ZDoom and with 2.0.63 compatibility set the exit is still bugged. A shame really because Titan 2 and even Titan 1024, a re-imagining of this WAD, don't depend on ZDoom 2.0.63a. I hope one day Ixnatifual will fix this bug but until then, stick with Titan 2 and Titan 1024 as they're vast improvements over this.

One of the most enjoyable wads I've played in a long time. Excellent atmosphere. Took me around 12 hours to complete. Died many times. Shit my pants a few times - and that hasn't happened in DOOM for years for me. Had to save every 5 mins. Only bad thing is there is only 9 levels... Played on UV -fast... now I need a vacation. Cheers Jasper. Unfortunately I can only give you 5/5. 10/5 -jb

This 9-map-pack starts tame in layout and gameplay but becomes a real trip while you're going through the maps. Some scripting and monsters from the ZDoom Community Monster Pack make it interesting right from the beginning. But maps 08 and 09 are real masterpieces with the way, gameplay is directed by scripting and with its psychedelic sounds. 4.5/5 -Milian

Nine levels from 2004. Map01 is awful, a dark crate maze followed by a well-lit crate maze; Map02 is better but still 1995 standard; I skipped to Map05, which is a solid 1998-style techbase, with some source port features, and lots of straight corridors; to be fair, Map07 is much better (reminiscent of Aliens TC); Map08 was surprisingly easy but good fun; Map09 was huge and tough. I would have kept Map08 and 09 and done some more work on the rest.

      An amazing hellbase style level mixed with a bit of cave exploring, utilizes ZDoom effects to create a nice atmospheric environment to play in. I played on UV and found the difficulty to be fair while still presenting a challenge in a few spots. Overall it's pretty good but could of ended a little better as I am not a fan of arena endings.

      Hangar is a single GZDoom level that has one of the best uses of 3D floors I've seen. There really isn't much I can say about this level except that is just really solid.

      I have a soft spot for levels set in somewhat realistic facilities that also feature a light horror theme, however, what I don't like are levels full of what can be surmised as annoying monster encounters. Specifically what I find annoying are the monsters placed on UV which lead to rather poor level flow. This level does look good and has a nice custom song playing but the stock scream sound effects that play somewhat frequently do detract from this. Overall this is an okay level that could very easily be made good if monster flow was made better and the screams were played less often.

      I was loving it, had a fair bit of challenge. Every fight really put you to the test. Excellent map design, too. You clearly worked hard on it, and that is not lost on me. That being said, as soon as it hit whispering winds, I instantly hated it. It just devolved into finding one of 20 invincibility power ups, and spamming the bfg. Took all the fun out of it when you're backed into a corner against 100 barons, 100 revenants, 100 cacos, 5 cyberdemons, 600 imps, 250 zombie gunners, a spider mastermind, and 20 arch-viles that revive the fuckers, and all you can do is spray the bfg and hope invincibilty doesn't run out.
