Well, I didn't realize it was an E3M1 remake until way later.  So i guess that counts for something

ehy, 1994 switcheroom was pretty cool. All in all, nice e3m1 redo.

This is dated March 1994, which is extremely old - ORIGWAD is dated March 7, so if the datestamp is correct this must be one of the first wads ever. It's a well-made, enjoyable riff on E3M1, which is topical because there have been a few E3M1 remakes recently. This is better than the E3M1 in id=12484, but not as good as id=12156 or id=15106.

Oh, my. Seems like someone found out how to modify textures and stuff in E3M1. 0/5.

Is this really from Raphael Quinet, of DEU/NewDEU fame? Who'd have guessed he sucks at level design.

It's funny you call it a E1M1 map when it's clearly a E3M1 rip-off

amazingly bad. Congratulations on the author for not making the worst serious level set I've ever seen, however. 1 * Also, to the man above here: WOW, BECAUSE IT'S OLD BEING A LAZY FUCK AT COPYING SECTIONS FROM E3M1 AND CHANGING TEXTURES IS TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE.

Yeah, this quite a relic. Show some respect for your elders you 12 year old Doom-wannabe Halo fans! It looks crude but play here is easy yet decent. SPOILER: an unforeseen switch trick can be used to exit early. ***

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.
